Again Mick not giving a crap about anyone but himself. If the statement was made to him I am sure it was made in confidence. For a guy that preaches integrity, it seems to only flow one way.

Burning coaches is not the solution.

I worry that Carlton is still the VFL club it was some 25 years ago.

Mick knew he wasn't going to be rebuilding when the president stupidly said we would in round 2
Mick from that point in went rogue. The damage was already dinner.
Mick had to be sacked because of where everything was and where he was..
Mick should have been sacked and paid out yesterday..

Look at this record since the 1987 premiership:

- Walls seriously underperformed
- Jezza seriously underperformed
- Parkin seriously underperformed (by his own admission, the 1995 team coached itself once he had the good sense to step out of the way)
- Brittain very seriously underperformed
- Pagan seriously underperformed
- Ratten seriously underperformed
- Malthouse seriously underperformed
- <inset next coach> will seriously underperform.

So, whether Mick was or wasn't the right coach for Carlton....... Who the flower actually knows???? Carlton certainly doesn't; check out the above!
