The environment for excellence they have been creating?
I think Mick will be rather savage of the board. He's the AFLs greatest ever coach. In an industry where coaches fail consistently.. He's managed to survive.. He's won three flags paired off in a few GFs.. NEVER WON A SPOON to be treated to shabbily by this incompetent board will be a stain on his glorious record and he will bend over backwards to put this right..

Lol

Yep, Mick will be gone and the board won't escape without damage.

As kenny says, it will count for nothing if there's nobody out there willing to strike and mount a credible challenge.

Let's hope there is and let's hope they have a @#$%&! clue.

Good Morning All!
Last comment by me because I'm over him. All Mick had to do was say 'the club and I are on the same page, my contract will be reviewed towards the later part of the year as we agreed'. If he stayed firm with that comment as everyone agreed to do, the media would not have had a story as such. But his 1st comment in 2015 was about his contract and the effect it would have on his assistance and their future....ball started to roll!

I'm thrilled that Mick will go down swinging. It's about time the incompetence of our board was laid bare...

Some guy goes down swinging when he's managed one win for the season against last year's wooden spoon team. Hay makers by a stumbling drunk more like it.

Are you serious?

Basically he was told yday, we will sack you in 2 weeks time. Just go through the motions then act surprised then.
Who would put up with that???
If the players had the same amount of pride/ego, we wouldn't be in this mess as it is.

I see this as a positive. The board will be answerable for this. No payouts in sacking them.

If you want to rejuvenate the troops, i don't think laidley is the man to do that.
May have to look at one of the other salamis. ?Barker ?Webster

Synners
As the close cfc family member you are with all of us
Tell us
Would Tom be a step in the right direction and why?
As many of us would jump on pretty much anything that gets rid of this lot..
Would be great to get your honest opinion on this.

Yeah, I think so too.

It's the betrayal of trust between Trigg and Malthouse that's big too. It's a massive lack of class and respect.

Let's not pretend class and respect are in huge supply at our club right now, from anyone, but that was very poor from Mick.
