We should make SOS coach.

I hear he's the messiah.

Yeh, it's not a great look renegging on the 'Mick will coach until end of season' but every week Mick coaches is doing more and more damage.

Ange Postecoglou said 1 year wasted takes 3 years to overcome.

So just end the charade ASAP and start planning for the future. Until Mick is gone everything is just a waste of time.

I reckon he's gone, he's been told and the two week break is to give him time to decide if he wants to coach out the year.

Hope he doesn't, i don't want that stupid old cauliflower hanging around.

This, the people that are pissed are those wanting the axe now.

Mick knows he won't be coaching next year but at the same time would be sick to the stomach in knowing he'll be sacked and would prefer to coach out the year and not be reappointed.

As much as people have a hatred of him, I believe there's a respectful way of doing things. I'll bet you Mick has asked for 2 weeks to get competitive in the hope he can coach it out and finish on his terms at the end of the year

What happens if we lose by 100+ this week (every chance) and then pip the Crows in a shock the next week?

Do they sack him or reappoint him on the basis of one win?

Possibly would be the only coach ever sacked during a season after winning...

How is it disrespectful

Because the decisions been made and everyone knows it.
Mick hanging around for another 2 weeks is embarrassing.

It's been handled badly but no matter how it went, it was always going to be "poor old Mick and big bad Carlton" .

KB started this morning, Eddie will be all over it, Dwayne and the gang. Massive free kick that we will just have to wear flush in the goolies.

MM should have been re-appointed after round 2 for two more years o 2017.

What's happened since the 're-build' comment has been jaw-droppingly stupid.

Carlton footy club has been a rabble since the national comp started. Absolute amateurs. We'll be lucky to survive this.

I don't see it as disrespectful. MM knows he's gone. Let the air clear then announce he is either coaching out year or a temp coach is appointed.

We are going through a process. Nice to see for a change

They may have put some things on the table and said take a couple of weeks to think about Mick

Reduction in salary
Change in coaching structure

Who knows
