For the first time I don't want the kids to play this weekend. Sydney at the SCG after beating Hawthorn will be a bloodbath.

Play Jones, Warnock, Wood, Ellard, Armfield, Carrazzo etc then Tag everyone, get thrashed, say goodbye to Mick and then next week against Adelaide at the MCG play the kids and watch us win for the new coach when we play an up beat offensive game style.

I like the reasoning behind this theory.

Expecting a temp to mind the herd till we get ourselves a real modern day coach like Dew.

Well, people, I may as well be one of the sacrificial lambs for Carlton supporters in Melbourne because I'm turning up for this one.

I think my middle name is Masochistic...

If he does, good on him but realistically it should be a complete board level re-organisation/reduction and re-election with hopefully some fresh new candidates to regenerate the club's future and moving into (& ahead) with the modern AFL management.

I'll be there too.

Bruising game last night.
I'm hoping Swans go easy on us.

If there's a new coach we might see a new strategy.
Nevertheless will be interesting, speckled with a few Navy Blue highlights.

It has to be a running game with a preparedness to win the ball and hit opponents hard.

I don't understand why the board/football executive can't work this out with MM/coaching panel pre-bye (i.e. demand a change in style), release the shackles but KPI's across the team with regards to accountability for tackles, 1%'ers etc.

So ...... does Rowe take Tippet and White take Buddy? or the other way round? A sad state of affairs
13 - 14 years ago Pagan pretty well identified a lack of key (big) defenders at Carlton ...... 13 - 14 years on we have Jack S.

Ideally we stop their mids and we don't need to worry about those guys ........ In our dreams.

Everitt easily has the best physical attributes to take on Buddy - quick & tall who played across half back for Swannies in the year before he crossed to us. It's not as if Buddy is a physical monster like a Plugger or Johnno Brown. FFS, challenge the guy!

I'd love someone at Carlton to challenge him ....... Every game he's played against us he's treated his Carlton opponent with contempt
