Curnow was great.

Curnow, just like Carazzo before him, have had to fight for every inch of progress in their career.

They have probably played every game like it were their last. They have probably played with self doubt since gaining a spot on an AFL list. They are to be admired.

Then we get to Gibbs and Murphy...silver spooned and told their shit is aromatic all their lives

Gibbs is a flowering liablity atm...Murphy is fractionally better. Play for the jumper and the priviledge of being seen as an elite AFL player, not because of flowering politics which you have no control over.
They are mentally soft and insipid...take a leaf out of Ed Curnow's book

Did anyone see EC as he was shaking hands after the match. He genuinely appeared pissed off at what was happening. Should be our only tagger for the next 5 years, and should be developed as a leader.

Ha ha, ED's pissed with the other players, FMD!!! What did he do when he had a chance to kick a clutch goal when the game was still to be won, he missed... Leader my ass, he's just another plodder and we're going so bad he's starting to look good.

They've all missed clutch goals. That happens. Even Stick's missed one once. If that's what you base leadership on then you have no idea what the word means. He seems a better leader than many other's we had out there.

the last thing we needed was to bring in more average type players.
we've just unloaded plenty of them, and now we have to waste time & money offloading again.

I would really like to know why Warnock was brought in for Carrazzo. Makes no sense.

Why Graham wasn't brought in? Makes no sense.

Why Jones was picked after a poor game in the reserves last week. Watson given 3/4 last week and was poor but anyone would be in that forward line.

Was he really going to play Kruezer in defence until injured. It's bad enough making him a forward but a backman?

Is Judd injured? Looks to be playing sore to me.

I notice there is still plenty of Curnow love on this site. Why?

Plodder who has played way too many games for my liking. Comparing him to Murphy and Gibbs as footballers is laughable. And those two have been hugely disappointing. At least they have some value at the trade table. Curnow would have none.

Big deal, he tries. Doesn't win you games of football.

I'm betting that's just the start in the line of questioning we would like the answers to

I'd let Curnow loose for the rest of the year and see what happens. Does a great job tagging and he is an endurance machine and works hard. Let him play and see what happens.

Just heard an interview with gibbs on the radio. He got asked a lot of stupid questions, but his answers were insipid. Wishy washy. Not sure why the team is playing so bad. Not sure how to turn it around. Not sure why his form is so poor. Not sure about much.

STK had more tackles in the second qtr against WCE than Carlton had over 4 qtrs last night.

When you're playing 1v1 assignments you tackle substantially less. We need to release those shackles and back our blokes to protect space.

We'll force more contests in the oppositions forward line, gather more intercepting marks and increase the pressure on the bloke carrying the ball physically and tactically.
