To fellow CFC supporters

I've been a long time reader/supporter on this site, but rarely posted. As a proud Carlton supporter, I've taken to social media over night #CFC2015DoSomething. As a proud supporter I'm completely disgusted at the plight of our football club. I know that I'm preaching to the converted. The club needs to DO SOMETHING !!!, they need to sell us hope instead of hopelessness. I hope you can join me on the social media petition to the football club, they aren't doing anything, but we can.

Regards
Louis

I remember last year's #united rubbish.

That went well.

With all respect, #United was a club strategy, this is an attempt to drive change from the supporter base.

A hashtag is still a hashtag. It's an illusion.

Wow, get bagged for trying to drive a message of change to the footy club. Without supporters the club has nothing, why not support change when we desperately need it. Twitter is only one small step, but at least it's a start. Your choice to support it or not

It's very difficult to do anything apart from a boycott

Someone has to get it out in the mainstream media that all Carlton supporters should boycott until the broom is pushed through the club ... Matheoson, Smorgon, Pratt and the entire board need to go ... Sick of the deflection on the coach and the players ... Trust me this is our only hope ... Else we may as well press the flush button now ...

The heat needs to be put onto board, administration and most of all the puppet masters ... This is the only way ...

They will all tell u they're making changes.
It's a conscience vote... If people feel strongly enough about where this once mighty club has now fallen I believe they should consider withdrawing funding and their appearance at games.

But of course you don't have to.. You've paid your money and would continue getting your moneys worth.

Not that there is much there at the moment.

Personally I believe if we did this the first casualty would be Mick... So he is a goner., after the Mick execution they workshy know what to do... They would have used up all their ammunition..
Then it would get extremely interesting from there...

Agreed

Very simple strategy...
embarrass the club, the AFL and the TV networks

Another simple strategy is for the club to convene a board meeting, make a decision that MM isn't the right person moving forward in 2016, but that his contract will be honored. Big presser...it will be 'hanging off the rafters' room only

Trigg instructs MM to play youth regardless of their readiness bc the list mgt committee want to see them at AFL level.

MM may not like the public lack in confidence, nor the edict to play kids...He may just choose a quiet, orchestrated and fiscally negotiated exit

Trust me! They care..
Their problem us this

They used to think if Joe bloggs doesn't come to the football it doesn't matter.. Joe bloggs is a useless @#$%&! and we don't need him.. There are plenty more Joe bloggs that will come to the football

They never thought let's get the new Joe bloggs and the old Joe bloggs because 1+1 is 2
-1+1 is 1

There was this arrogance that we didn't matter.. After all this tells the story of the mindset and the philosophy of the club.
And how a guy like Mick could be fooled by his friend to come.. Just as his friend swann was fooled by the facade..
Problem is now everybody knows the emperor has no clothes
http://www.brw.com.au/p/national/busine ... NiQoe3yipL

So do we go along with the charade?

I've put up a couple of articles to show how this club thinks and functions over the last couple of days... Just so you don't think I'm making stuff up.
People warning people often aren't believed.
Often by the time they're believed it's all too late.
Think about these articles about board members cozying up with name players and the brw article about how it all works..
Think about the types of people running this club.. Their performance over s lengthy period of time.. How that's translated into this club...

Then think about how many boxes this club has been ticking.
The fact it's skint

And no surprise about the output.
Problem is you can't get worse on the ladder.. But as a club there is no floor to where you can go

Challenge we all have is that this mess is going to take time. And with time it's hard to see progress immediately.

Need to get the balance right between patience and timely sign posts that we are acting differently and making progress.

Hence the dilemma we have at the moment - to sack or not mid season.......

If that's sign post 1, what is the second and third and when?

Reality bites - the tension between wanting a better weekend effort vs a sustainable future.
