You might be right Heavs.
Anything can happen. It's headline news: the coach, the club, the recruiters, the players.
All in the spotlight and there's no bigger spotlight in H&A season than Friday night games.
Furthermore, MM and Board must be talking to the players geeing them up.
Surely Justin Maddens scathing comments about the players will fire them up.
Maybe David Kings comments today in the Murdoch Press about the bruise free footy the players are playing might spark them to come and play tonight.
What about Barry Halls plea to the players last night on League Teams to play for the coach, show some passion, something! Get reported. Something! That may have caught an ear or two, perhaps a heart string.
Even Doggies champion and ex captain said its only 9 games ago that the same lot of players got with 6 points of the Cats, so it must be the players. They have to show they care.
Or, Nathan Browns comment that the players don't defend on the Today Show.
The players can't escape the ridicule. It's time to show something.
Maybe the players will come to play, show a bit of life, a bit of ticker, and play a style that may just challenge the Cats. We have done that for years.
No matter what is going on behind the scenes at Carlton, good or bad, Carlton is not insignificant and players can't hide away from their responsibilities to the viewing audience tonight let alone their fans.
If they can't muster a fight to give themselves a fighting chance tonight with their friends family and the football world looking at them they can all go and get [REDACTED]. MM must give the boys some slack to compete and score!! Let them free.
22 vs 22...if they bleed......
its a great opportunity tonight...record TV audience tonight on back of weel long publicity....blues to claim a surprise 1 pt win (there...i said it!)......
