This is a culture problem where sporting excellence is not front and square but idolatry of footballers by board members is.

Football clubs are about sport...
A board is responsible to create the best environment for spring excellence possible.
Having guys on the board who are bringing guys into ventures with clubs and pokies and other fields is ridiculous.
They're simply rubbing shoulders with footballers and not keeping focus on what they're supposed to be doing.
Creating an environment of excellence in sport.
