I understand the thinking behind White & Dick; promotes one of Yarran, Doc and Tuohy to the midfield full-time (likely Yarran) and gives Jaksch a chop out. Clearly Henderson and Jamison are not ready.

Watto is a replacement for Jones, who cannot kick a goal to save his life at the moment; ok.

Menzel earned his spot, Tutt is sub fodder so some kids can get more game time in the VFL.

But Carrazzo... that selection has me lost beyond 'hard body at the clearances'. He has been awful on the spread, and he has been choppy - though technically effective - with his disposal.

Would rather have BB and Buckley in the team for two of Dick, Carrazzo and Tutt; Buckley has been wasted as a defender for two years now and Boekhorst is poorly used by his team mates, who leave him consistently having to go into traffic to retrieve the footy because they can't get spread from the contest, and they can't hit a running target by hand.

Effective disposals are a @#$%&! lie and I hope we aren't paying attention to them because our quality of disposal is truly awful and we've just stripped away some ways to improve that while bringing in players who would have seen us nail the extra opportunities the better disposal provides.

I generally just skim over posts without reading - real busy and all that..... So, are you saying that Yarran has a white dick?

There are lots of hysterical people on here. Why? We are essentially moving the deck chairs around. We don't need these kids to be belted around every week. So having a week off is neither here nor there.

The biggest decision for mine was finally dropping Jones who has dramatically under-performed since he started. I look forward to seeing a forward line with Casboult and Watson in it. Let's hope from them we have a few big grabs and goals.

At last someone talking sense.

Yeah, Graham must be exhausted after his 25 minutes of senior football.
Good to see you're thinking rationally Dom.

Anybody want Tuohy dropped as much as I do?
He seriously gets beaten every week, either dropped or at least try him at half forward.

Also any thoughts on playing Warnock instead of Wood?

I'd play Warnock in my All Time Shittest Carlton Footballers 02-07 (Glory Years) best 22.

With Ricky Mott vigorously resting in the pocket for when Warnock gets tired of failing to tap the ball to Daniel Harford.

people left, right and centre ripping them, about how they should be handing them out to lucky members for free for putting up with the steaming pile of crap they serve up each week. others there ripping them about all they care about is money and making it.

people talking about how this is the last straw, & defecting to other clubs etc ...

all fair points, and about time really. carlton just don't get it.

nor does jones apparently, according to mick...........Jones makes way on the back of six goals in as many games, with the coach conceding that Jones was yet to grasp how the Blues' forward line is supposed to operate. Today's Age.

does anyone on TC know how the forward line is supposed to operate - buggered if any of the players know..........

our forward line operates on the chaos theory, i'm pretty sure.

6 out of 9 games as a sub?

That's fkn incredible.

Maybe he should consider a fancy new haircut to get a full game?

Im hoping its because of Jones, and hopefully he can sharpen his sword in the NB's.
We wont know till Henderson is back at BHF..

Casboult is clunking them, and all he has to do is kick straight.

I'd like to see Buckley develop with Menzel as a forward.

Going to watch the 2sies today.
Very worried if i stay for main games I'll be supporting GWS.
Well, no,
but I'll be dreaming of exciting prospects that may land at our club next year.

Hope Cripps is playing today, heard he is out with a calf strain. He's the only reason to watch them atm.
