Now wtf did boekhorst do wrong last week. Nothing, he had a dip.

I don't get it. If only they could possibly let graham and Whiley play a full game without having to tag or playing for 15 mins to see how they go.

Apart from some possessions going astray, what did smith do wrong? He needs to get used to the tempo of the game to get better.

They drop the young ones first, the seniors can do as they like and stay in.

Does anyone reckon Thomas was better than boekhorst last week? Not on star status , on last week alone? Thomas cant it kick 40 meters anymore.

We pay $700k to a guy to sit in the forward pocket, he was meant to be our star midfielder.... He does not even kick goals.

But that's ok mick wants to play kick to kick with his son.

Arrrrrgggggg sick of this shit..

Listened to that 7 min crap about team selection. Embarrassing. More cliches than a political announcement.

Boek's DE was 100% until his set shot in the last. Given the team can't kick, surely he isn't being dropped for mistakes.

I can't stand this Mick vendetta with Bucks.
Bucks has some passion and some zip.
Mistakes from him are expected and ok for now.
Mick wants a team of bloody droids.

At least I'm sure it's Bucks who will stay and Mick who will go at end of year.

Part of the reason goes back to when Jimmy played against Mick

eg: Round 20 1982 - Carlton vs Richmond
Injuries: M.Malthouse (cut mouth) courtesy of a Jim Buckley square-up for David Glascott

I'm sure that's not the only time Jimmy and Mick had a run in

Some NEAFL ball magnet.

Let him play as s ball magnet and you might see that comparison eventuate.

Exhibit A of Mick being past it - Whiley is played as a ball magnet in VFL and dominates a few games. Comes into the AFL team and is played on Pendles and then Beams. Just stupid.

I'm over the moon to see all those youngsters out as long as Armfield's still playing :banghead: :banghead:

We're going to get smashed this week, will be our worst defeat of the year, lock it in. If MM is picking teams to win then this shows how far past it he is. I've been a paid up member for 20 years with reserved seats to all games. Since MM's come on board I've deliberately missed games due to MM's selections and we've lost them all, from the Saints game in 2013 where he played Warnock, Kreuzer and Hampson in the same team to this weekends game....I'm not going to go and watch the crap that will get dished up.

Bloody hard when you are responsible for Pendlebury & Beams. There have beaten better players than Whiley over the years. Poor development

So I presume El Presidente has an exclusive with Robbo in the Hun tomorrow where he says something along the lines of we don't rebuild at Carlton.

There are lots of hysterical people on here. Why? We are essentially moving the deck chairs around. We don't need these kids to be belted around every week. So having a week off is neither here nor there.

The biggest decision for mine was finally dropping Jones who has dramatically under-performed since he started. I look forward to seeing a forward line with Casboult and Watson in it. Let's hope from them we have a few big grabs and goals.

Graham one quarter. Whiley two weeks. Buckley two weeks. Smith one week. Boekhurst three weeks.

Not exactly wearing them out?

If we can't turn you into a shitty shutdown half back flanker our name isn't the "Carlton Player Development Program".

I understand that. That's why I'm confused that the kid gets this ridiculous initiation on two of the best players in the competition. Then gets dropped.

Then will probably will go back and rack it up and win his own ball in the twos. Only to return to be tagging Nathan Fyfe or something ridiculous.

It's infuriating.

now there is a conspiracy theory I can run with.
Would not be surprised in the least. :sly:
of course, it could be that Bucks said he thought Laidler was a huge influence, and how much he loves watching him go well in the Swans. :yikes:

Maybe Graham won't make it but seriously how can you pick him, play him for 20'minutes and then drop him. If he is not up to it how is he picked at all and if he is picked how can he then be dropped with so little opportunity. And give Bucks a go, at least he looks like he cares and tries to be attcking. Maybe he took the ball further than 3 metres from the boundary line. And BB needs to be played. Go GWS, we need to keep losing to try and get some serious change. And remember GWS are a very good fotball team...

The omissions of Buckley and Graham are disgraceful.
Watson better be given a good 4 weeks as well.
