Walker hadn't picked up his standard after coming in underdone, that said Carrazzo and White weren't exactly looking great.

Boekhorst, Graham and Buckley got a pretty raw deal here. Tutt will play FP/HF and do nothing, because he's playing super outside midfield in the VFL...

Agree

Boekhorst, Graham and Buckley should be persisted with.

I suppose on the positive side ... at least they won't have to be part of another Carlton disaster.

Micks asking for the early payout cheque now he is safe until end of season or setting himself up for retirement next wk. l can see the logic of wanting to go out on a win, otherwise this makes no sense to me. Only a side selected in best interests of mick this wk

No Jamo still.

Rowe & Kj for Cameron McCarthy & Stewart. Probably why White is in so quick.

VFL team could beat our AFL team this week.

Pfft........ 7 changes.

Silly move.

FFS, just give BB and Graham 5 straight games.

Tutt offers another pacey option to try and counter the pace of GWS than the one paced Nick Graham.
The way people go on about NG, its as if he's Diesel Williams not being given a go

Getting harder and harder to defend his decisions. At first I kind of liked his way with the media and his shrewdness.

Now I'm starting to think everybody's passed him by and he should be in a home somewhere doddering around in slippers and rambling nonsense to an orderly.

Am I the last person to notice the Emperor's lack of clothing?

I can't stand this Mick vendetta with Bucks.
Bucks has some passion and some zip.
Mistakes from him are expected and ok for now.
Mick wants a team of bloody droids.

At least I'm sure it's Bucks who will stay and Mick who will go at end of year.

Malthouse called Buckley out at training and gave him a fair serve. Knew at that point he was dropped.

Just another confused message from the CFC.

Are we rebuilding or is it MM trying to save his arse?

This is what happens when you have a President that says we need wins, a coach that says he needs wins to keep his job, a CEO who announces after round 2 we are rebuilding and a LM who needs 66 games to rebuild. We are an absolute basketcase. It is farcical what is happening.

So what if we win and extra 2-3 games (if any at all) during the year by playing some our older players who wont be at the club in the next year or so. What does it achieve?

We really are the biggest joke in the AFL. Well done CFC. Have a good hard look at yourself and stop sending me invites to stupid events each week. I want to see hope! :hitcomputer:  :banghead:

I'm not sure if Graham will make it but it's hard to tell by giving him a quarter every 6-8 weeks. What is achieves I have NFI.

I can tell you as fact Webster is instructed to coach the NBs to MM's game plan.

So either we need to get Webster coaching the 1s or the VFL players playing AFL.

Yep

I understand the thinking behind White & Dick; promotes one of Yarran, Doc and Tuohy to the midfield full-time (likely Yarran) and gives Jaksch a chop out. Clearly Henderson and Jamison are not ready.

Watto is a replacement for Jones, who cannot kick a goal to save his life at the moment; ok.

Menzel earned his spot, Tutt is sub fodder so some kids can get more game time in the VFL.

But Carrazzo... that selection has me lost beyond 'hard body at the clearances'. He has been awful on the spread, and he has been choppy - though technically effective - with his disposal.

Would rather have BB and Buckley in the team for two of Dick, Carrazzo and Tutt; Buckley has been wasted as a defender for two years now and Boekhorst is poorly used by his team mates, who leave him consistently having to go into traffic to retrieve the footy because they can't get spread from the contest, and they can't hit a running target by hand.

Effective disposals are a @#$%&! lie and I hope we aren't paying attention to them because our quality of disposal is truly awful and we've just stripped away some ways to improve that while bringing in players who would have seen us nail the extra opportunities the better disposal provides.

I'm not sure Menzel earnt his spot but we need goalkickers.

As for Carrazzo, easy when the coach loves you. Problem is the one area we have been doing well is the clearances. We need help in the run and spread. I would of thought Buckley, BB etc help more in that area.

Once again MM coaching for the win. Watch all the tagging that will go on. Real negative football from a bunch of players that won't be in the AFL in 2016. What a waste of time.
