I have no problems with the 18th. That will give me an extra week to get a little more training in.

Are we looking at having a small training run in the coming weeks?

Might be an idea, Bully.

See what everyone thinks.

Perhaps we could have a small training session on the 4th at Glenferrie before the Hawks/SS game? Afterwards we could stick around and either watch their game or go over to the Glenferrie Hotel for a drink or two.

I would be happy too train on the 4th December before the other game.

PJ - maybe you could be start a seperate thread ( i know not ideal) that cleary confirms the new date of the 18th and our training date of the 4th December.

I am sure at least 10 - 15 can make a training session.

Not sure of the date, but Lexus is still very much an option, just a problem of OP and COllingwood communication

Can have it for free if we dont want the rooms and possibly the bar opened

All we want is a ground.

If we can't get the rooms or the bar, it doesn't matter.
We just want a ground to play on.

Can always wander up the street and find a bar afterwards.

Barnesy - I'll keep this thread at the moment as there is a chance we might be able to get the Lexus Centre. It would seem most people here are keen on the 18th at Glenferrie, but we'll wait and here confirmation on the Lexus Centre before we make a seperate thread.

I was talking with James Bond the other night at work and I ran past him the idea of seeing if the club would organise for a couple of the players too run the boundary for us or even the water.

On the surface it may sound silly, but surely some of these guys are only kids, and deep down would enjoy it just as much as us having them there.

Can anyone find out, or am I way off the mark.

Surely as the site sponsors players, we all pay our memberships etc etc they could get a couple of the boys too come down and be involved......

Karl Norman would love to support the people that support him, but the club are duty-bound not to let him near any white lines.

Not a bad idea, Barnesy, but I reckon the club would prefer not to.

4th seems like a goer for a training session. Have read that the Saints want the game a bit later in day due to the heat, so if that is the case we'd have to start at say 12/1pm.

If they do start at 2pm we'd have to start at 12 and be off the ground around 1pm. In the past the training sessions have always gone for an hour or less, so if we start at say 12 and finish at 1/1:30, we can then sit up in the stands and watch HHQ vs SS.

Looking forward to you strutting your stuff again in the forward line.

Get the feeling you, Shag, Nick, Bully and Muesli will be a deadly combo.

Thanks Phoenix, i can't wait and have been sooooooo frustrated with work hampering my efforts to contribute to the blue cause....

I'm happy to change over with someone in the midfield no problems at all, i will give my all in any position..

That forward line sounds great, and i'm shore if we all create as much forward line pressure as possible by chasing and harrasing the defenders everytime they try and clear the zone, we will have a field day..

Now i feel like a wild animal that has been teased with food for a long time and has finaly escaped from his cage!!!

Let me at them, Let me at them!!!!!
