I want to know that they can eventually put their hands up and claim responsibility.
Everything at the club is essentially their doing.
Now it's trade all the players.. Not that anybody will go I'm isolation because it depends what were offered.
But the grand plan is to get as many early picks as possible..
I can just see it now..
The eighteen year olds will change the culture of this football club.
Have you heard anything more absurd?

c'mon tassie.
Tim and Sam will be on the board.
We'll pick up the tiny scraps let from CFC and EFC* and start again.

I'll copy a good mate who is still filthy about Fitzroy. He officially has no team, he is an AFL Gold member and he chooses who to barrack for on the day (normally whichever team his barracking will put the sh1ts up the rest of us). If they win he claims a long undying love for them, if they lose he quickly drops them and claims he still barracks for Fitzroy and tells you his team hasn't lost a game in 20 years!

If its Tassie its got to be the Tasmanian Devils. I could even wear my light-up devils horns I got the last time I saw ADDC

Speaking of Fitzroy, truth be known, if Carlton did fold, it would be Fitzroy I would follow. I grew up in Fitzroy.

Won't fold in our lifetime but will be kicking them can of mediocrity up the road indefinitely

Synners u know as well as I do they will never take responsibility ... The are the masters of deflection ... They will just keep replacing the puppets ... Unfortunately it will be the same old same old for a very long time ... They're going nowhere nor are they going to take responsibility ...

Interestingly Scott Gullan in HS today questions the independence of the independent nominations committee of the board and seemds to suggest SUB JUDICE shouldn't be sitting on it

Others argued strongly that oit was ok - inference in article was with the Pres on the committee unlikely his position would ever be challenged

Just another example of trying to keep the little coterie that is our board and not let outsiders in

Hate to say it but I'm almost beyond disappointment.
I expect we will lose to GWS and Geelong and then what ?
We have a coach rightly or wrongly not prepared to resign and rightly or wrongly a Board, not prepared to sack him.
We have a team, which I think has quite some ability but is for whatever reason unable/unwilling to give it's all collectively.
Winning games would certainly go some way to dealing with the hurt Members are feeling.
Realistically though, a team that plays its heart out every week is what Members need to see; feel; support and encourage.
The way I feel, I would prefer Carlton to move to the VFL, play at Princes Park again, become successful again and return to being a Members club again.

The circuit breaker for this Club to start again, would be for Members to secure an EGM demanding a spill of all Board positions and fresh elections.

That would open up the Club to the opportunity of true Member participation, well beyond the razzamatazz and tokenism currently on display.

If it results in the Club losing financial benefactors, so be it.

I would prefer to work to keep my club viable, because I feel it's my club and trying its guts out to be successful.

Just had to get that off my chest.

Were've just about reached rock bottom for this great club.
The review of operations at all levels and departments is on going and something's sloppy but it's inevitable that there will be a mess after years of inertia and incompetence. We need to fast tack everything.
I will be patient and support the mighty Baggers always, in a life time I've seen this mighty club reach dizzy heights and reveled . It's time to stick close and unite , as we begin to get a decent team on the park hopefully Mick and the boys will turn things to the better again.
Go Baggers
