Lets face it they could do anything agree with Dom -they don't care enough - difficult to see us kicking enough goals with Hendo out

Only interested in seeing Jaksch cripps menzel bell whiley (must play) BUCKLEY(MUST PLAY) jones Docherty everett and hopefully graham play - the rest except for Juddy have continually let us down in big games ,ordinary games and within games

Sick of excuses from this lot GIVE US SOMETHING

Do people think the Club will take any drastic measures if we actually lose to the lowly Lions on Sunday ? Don't reckon a lot of us will be surprised if we do lose, as we've unfortunately got much precedence in these very similar circumstances over the last few years.

I think so, too, about 5-8 goals is best guess.

The real problem being is that we have to be "shamed" into producing an acceptable, honest effort. Growing up I remember that the only time rabble clubs like the Aints would ever fire a shot was in similar circumstances, e.g. a Moorabbin special coming off an insipid flogging the week before.

Let's see what happens in the ensuing weeks when they don't have anything to "prove", we'll then get an understanding of what the default output and commitment is.

yep. it'll be over by quarter time.

then our brave boys in blue will spend the next three quarters puffing their chests out like peacocks and acting like they've won a preliminary final.

Made the same point to a mate today. We were expected to show oour flat rack bully title but got done by a team of triers.

God help them if they lose this weekend.

Just watched last weeks game again. Gibbs lucky to be playing iimo. He didnt try at all.

If Menzel doesn't play tomorrow, we could quite possibly have the worst forwardline ever.

We will struggle to score.

Do not think this game is a certainty.

All Brisbane need is Beams, Rockliff, Redden to pull their fingers out & give their smalls (Christensen, Green & Taylor) a chance and we're cooked.

Their talls are all babies except for Leuenberger. It's a shit show all around.

Our talls are just plain shit.

I'd rather have young talls who are a chance of showing what their capable of compared to our crap. Levi, Jones & Rowe. The only tall who is a long term prospect is Jaksch.

Seems that way.

But having just watched a couple of games today to get my head around what Carlton stands for this year and what Im going to do with my time it is obvious Joones has no chance oof doing well being double teamed when the ball is just lobbed up in the air. Fevola had problems with that too. Its crap entry into ur forwardline that is causing the rreal problems.

Its the @#$%&! mids and the way they execute the MM "bomb it long" plan which is the problem imo. A more cohesive plan, retaining possession and moving the ball quickly to break lines is the way we win as a team.

Team work not bombs away.

What would winning on Sunday do for us?

Jones kicks 4 goals against a young defence and is a star? Thomas gets 20 possessions playing lose behind play and is a hero. Murphy gets 30 in a win and is a leader. Gibbs as well. Casboult takes mark of the year and kicks 1 goal 6 behinds. Big deal.

We are crap and we are playing a side in a hole, who are way younger and playing interstate. So what happens if we win? The media ease up for a week or so. It just doesn't change the big picture. We are crap.

I sometimes think we may be better losing as it could force change. Then again who knows. We beat Brisbane, big deal. They were thrashed last week by a drunk Gold Coast.

I'm at the stage where I really don't give a sh1t anymore if we win or lose. Personally I'll be hopefully be watching Cripps, Buckley, Whiley, Graham, Jaksch and hopefully seeing some positive development.

We need real change and a positive direction forward.

This is far from our best team, so some confidence would be helpful. It's better than losing, wouldn't you say?

What for? so we win 4 games instaed of 3 for season. Cost ourselves a spot in the draft.

We're rebuilding, going to the draft, a big part of the list will be gone, the coach is going, so what is the real benefit?

I've felt the same way for more than 2 years now.

The most annoying part was you'd think last year would have proved the catalyst for change, when we lost to melbourne and all other bottom 4 teams got flogged by nearly 100 pts by port and Essendon* etc

You know even if we lose nothing is going to change.

Mick is safe until end of year. The board wont take responsibility for their ineptness.

All a loss will do is make me have a crappy afternoon

and that's what's even more concerning. It's like we are in some sort of vicious circle that we can't get out of. The last 10 years have been a waste yet we don't seem to want to or have the ability to change. Culturally we need a massive shift but I don't see anyone who can effect it.

Agree so what will it take???

I've tried to be positive but have seriously had enough.
