Let's just keep playing "no tank" discard Jones. Jones has been given every opportunity and is a failure, whereas Watto has been given limited chances.

I'd play Watto too, but Jones was bought in on MM's watch and that stubborn senile excuse we have as a coach will keep playing Lame Jones no matter how lame he plays.

Watto has the opportunity to impress every week and force himself into the team, he just cant make an impact at VFL level, they are too good for him. Even when we played the AFL academy team he got destroyed by a 17 year old boy. As much as we dont want to admit it, another first round pick is wasted that is the reality.

Speaking of that 17 yr old kid - favourite to be the number 1 pick.

Lose to Brisbane & he could be ours. Looks a good one.

Sad but true.

Unless MM comes up with some new magical formula to kick goals, this line up looks very Scary.......

Will Casboult & Jones kick a Winning Score for us? The answer is very Simple... They would be lucky to even Score...This means that our midfield has to do it....Given that we are playing Brisbane, We can probably get away with a win, even with an 8-10 goals...

With this line up on the park, I just can't see how we are going to manufacture more than 6 Goals all Game!!

Brisbane have a very good chance of rolling us if their midfield gets on top...

I am tipping for a 1-0 Win to the Lions... OR maybe we can steal a 0-0 Draw!!

Bought a ticket yet?

NOPE...won't be going.... just found out the Game is Live on Ch7 this week, so best to stay warm at home and Watch the 0-0 Draw...

oh wait, I am Homeless... Can someone plz Spare me a TV?? :hitcomputer: :hitcomputer:

Dawn discipline for humiliated Carlton players

Humiliated in a milestone match for their coach last Friday night, Carlton's entire playing list assembled for two mandatory pre-dawn starts this week in a bid to lift basic standards and enforce some old-school discipline.

The lateness of one player on Tuesday to a 6am swim in the icy waters of St Kilda beach – just a warm-up to an hour-long session on

Really?
Bloody hell. My moneys on the Lions.

Gamblers look at the odds and go with Lions for a big reward.

The Lions Could win on the back of them only having to beat the 2nd bottom team.
17th vs 18th.

What have we become?

Carlton has the chance to show its class and better spine....because you'd hope it's the case.
There's a reason Lions haven't won a game and have shit percentage.
They're both in trouble though. Both bottomed out.

If Warnock is dropped we look so much better. There's our chance to win just there.

Will miss our big guys Henderson Kruezer Jamison...and Yarran
Wood Casboult Jones Jaksch Rowe

Our midfield looks good on paper:
Judd Murphy Cripps Simpson Thomas Walker Gibbs Everitt Curnow Docherty Graham

Carlton by 6 goals.

Better if the Board was sent out for the pre dawn swim.

I tend to agree with your opinion that Watto is worth a go for at least a few weeks, but let's not get carried away 3-4 per week is a 66-88 per year player. Watson and Jones combined won't be kicking 80 in a year.

We'll romp this in, comfortable win for the Baggers. Midfield will decide it , Judd , Gibbs , Murphy,Thomas, Simpson and Everett will show the way.
Things will slowly start turning around soon.
Ciao

This game has come at an opportune time. We haven't entered the difficult stage of our draw yet.

 if he came in and kicked 3-4 per week for the rest of the season he'd probably win the coleman

Are there odds for Carlton making a coaching decision should we lose?

Players can make a statement in this game.... do they respect/like the coach or not.

Just losing the game will be bad enough, lose easily and you couldn't possibly keep him there

How many chances do they get to make a statement?

I think they've already made one loud and clear but most of us refuse to hear it....
