i'm glad they saw sense and extended Daisy to another coupla weeks.

... would have been madness to rush him back into this real life calamity that is known as season 2015.

right now this season will be a success if kreuzer can finish it out healthy and strong for next year with no setbacks.

Carlton looks set to regain Troy Menzel for Sunday's match against Brisbane at Etihad Stadium.

Menzel returned from a calf injury with the Northern Blues on the weekend.

He didn't take part in the final quarter after experiencing hamstring tightness, but scans have cleared Menzel of any damage.

...

Matthew Kreuzer is set to line up for his first game of the season and will play for the Northern Blues against Frankston on Sunday.

Dale Thomas, Simon White and Ciaran Byrne are all on track to return in a fortnight.

No discussion of Sheehan.

Thanks.

And why does Daisy say he was a chance to play v Collingwood & should play this week with Macca saying differently?

Could be a number of things, but they would have monitored him pretty regularly and made a call that it wasn't healing as hoped and stuck with the initial assessment. The non-surgical option is largely a wait-and-see scenario.

Good job if you can get it.

Jamison too. Kinda like Thomas with 2 weeks as of Tuesday and Sheehan with this new spelling of indefinite, '1-2 weeks'.

So Kreuzer's stated in an article today that:

“It was nice to be able to do the full pre-season and for that to happen at the end was a bit frustrating, but at least I know now I’ve got through the full pre-season.
The foot coped with it and I’ve got a good base for the year.” :?

Last time I saw the injury list following during preseason his foot was stuffed. Just a dumb claim.

I think he means the point where they switched to pre-season matches?

So he did all the preliminary running, training etc. He trained fully from October until February.

Is he not important enough to be included in the injury list on the clubs website?

And is Bioglan (sponsors of the Injury List) aware that they are paying for incorrect or insufficient information?

Fair questions, not sure why the CFC haven't got this up.

Its not fun following a tteam which keeps its supporters in the dark.

Opposition fans contact me to chat footy and Carltons reporting on matters team to iits members and potential supporters has become a joke, not only on TC..

But that pre season pretty much becomes null and void when you get 6-8 week injury At the end of it...and you can't run.

He's way behind the 8 ball compared to other players who have an uninterrupted run at it. He'd be in the middle of his own mini pre season in terms of periodisation......not at the end.
