Going to have to put up with these threads until Jeffy, kennedy, eddie, waite & sauce have all retired aren't we?

Then it'll all be about how we gave away Cripps, Menzel, Bell...

In all seriousness if SOS has his way we'll be seeing the same threads about Lachie next year :(

Surely Eddie’s good form is close to an end? He is about to retire, he’s in his 40’s now!

You have inside knowledge that they for sure want to trade Hendo?

1 went to training recently and saw thomas he did 1by 100m run and then was have pot shots at goal, but my fav moment was like pre season watching him try to flick the footy up with his feet than marking it his a soft player and soft at training feel ill watching him all that money wasted.

Which one went to training recently? If you get ill just watching players at training, maybe yours a soft watcher.

The disappointing thing about Betts going to Adelaide was us missing compensation.

I hope he goes well there but at the money they're paying him it wasn't worth matching.

If he is gone next year it won't be his choice.

Same would go for Kreuzer, Gibbs or Murphy.

Yeah coz Betts leaving excuses the rest of the group being softcocks...
Ohh poor Jeffy was affected when Eddie left...
Give me a break...
He wasn't too affected to get pissed and lie about it, or sook it up in the 2nds all through the season...
Watch Dees game and you ll see he s mostly still the same old selfish Jeffy going for the Hollywood crap instead of the team things..
And whats Moneybags Waite the No 1 team man done for North apart from one good game against the bottom team with no key defenders...
As for Eddie, he may be doing well, but when hes got Tex to take the heat, then yeah, he s free to be Eddie. We aint got no Tex in our team and haven't since Fev. Hadhe stayed his career would ve just faded away such wa hit commitment forus in his last year here.

It's fun watching JEFFY at melbourne. I can enjoy him doing the good things & don't have to care when he shows glimpses of bad habits. I could never hate that cheeky grin.

What did he lie about?

Robinson did, not Garlett.

It did come up in February that neither Carlton nor Melbourne knew about Jeffy getting caught driving whilst his license was suspended.

But that was after the trade.

I'm very happy to watch Jeffy play good football at Melbourne and see him smiling again. It is clear he had to make a change in clubs to get things back in order. (now just fingers crossed Clem can make it a fruitful trade).

Fair enough, I figured that he was at least on the scene, but I'm going off the top of my head.

AS CARLTON wallows in its worst start in nearly a decade, the real story behind Eddie Betts’ departure from the club can be revealed.

Betts, second on the Coleman Medal table and setting the Adelaide attack alight, left Carlton in 2013 when the now low-scoring Blues refused to meet the free agent’s asking price.
