The AFL will IMO have been shown to have shot themselves in the foot. The template has been layed out for everyone to see- there is no AFL moral compass anymore. Do what you like then legally challenge it in the courts- the AFL will cave. Carlton are not the only club that sees the injustice in this, there are 16 other clubs seething. Gil you have just lost a lot of goodwil here son. This was the wrong issue to try to make go away. It wont. You have opened a big box that will haunt the AFL for many a year.
PS cutting the cost of pies wont help- there are other better run codes that will benefit from the fallout -that will see the family dollar moving away from a corrupt and piss weak administration.

Going out for dinner with 2 best mates next week, one of them is an aussie expat working in the UK but is here with work. 1 mate is a STK fan and the other is a Hawks fan. I emailed the STK guy that whichever team loses this weekend, that guy needs to buy the 1st shout. Hawks mate replied with "kind of like a Biggest Loser contest?". I want to go back with something witty to put him in his place but I've got nothing!
