Would be happy to see us play more like the way we did on that last qtr. When we play an organized game and as a team We do have good solid units, we comprehensively won innthe clearances our problem is class on the outside that's where we get killed. If you were to get some class outside run you'd think Carlton would be a competitive at the least talent wise, our problem is our best players are getting on in years, that's where our greatest challenge lies. With every challenge lies an opportunity. Im happy with Mick, no other coach would have magically taken us to a flag but we need to invest in better assistants to help him. I hope SOS is the great coup the club says he is, my fingers are crossed...

Yarran and Gibbs will miss a trip across the ditch due to suspension. We don't need to play all of Ellard, Carrazzo, Curnow etc...so we keep Carrazzo. We bring in outside speed, Buckley, Beokhurst as we lack run big time. Hopefully Menzel is fit. If he fit I'd play Menzel, Walker and Cripps, who has marking forward written all over him despite being a mid, all up forward with Hendo, showed some form yesterday, and Casboult, our 2nd ruck. Surely adds something to the forward line. Jones out, prefer the other guys forward, Whiley in doing Cripps' job. Jaksch back in to shore up the defence.

Reckon we have so decent players but we're playing the wrong one's with the wrong structure. If we're going to rebuild do the bloody job properly.

gibbs will be fine.

Hope "Some guy" turns intio a player...lol.

With Rowe or Casboult give in that 2nd ruck role give me Casboult any day. To me Rowe can only play CHB or play with the NBs. Not so good anywhere else. Tough gig holding down both a forward and ruck role. Casboult does a reasonable job at it.

I agree with what you're saying, I just don't think its as big an area of concern compared to others at the moment - we're not exactly losing games on the basis of getting smashed when Wood takes a spell, we're barely breaking even when he's out there anyway. It's an area that needs to be addressed at the end of the year, and don't think there's a viable solution currently on the list.

We are losing games as a result of how shitty our forward line structure is. Casboult should be accountable for that.
