Getting rid of the coach will compound the problem this club has had since the Elliot years.

The players are responsible for their effort and the coach is always the scapegoat.

MM is the man for the job to change this clubs culture we have to really look at moving on Gibbs and bringing in some players that fit the Malthouse mould.

MM inherited this group who is he really responsible for?

Everitt tick
Docherty tick
Jones was worth a crack can still be a good third tall
Jaksch so far so good
Thomas Unlucky

Ask yourselves who would have inspired our group out there more today Gibbs or Thomas?

Dale gives everything and inspires those around him thats the type of footballers that malthouse will bring to the club and give us every chance of getting back to the top and staying at the top.

Sign Malthouse for 3 now that way the players know their accountable and if they fail the will answer to this man who has tried to remain optimistic but internally dont think MM knows exactly what needs to be done.

April 1st is gone.

Was a great coach but game plan outdated, as happens when you turn 60, can't find one to suit our players, and hence has lost the players. Getting nothing out of them. Gone totally backwards since we sacked Ratten.

Shouldn't you be addressing the players Mick? Or is that you Dale?

Look you cant force Gibbs to be a leader and stand up
What are MM sides known for? Effort, pressure game plans are overrated especially when you have players who play like Gibbs.

Get rid of Malthouse? Ok for who? And when that fails what then? This is the clubs issue from the get go lets stick fat for once and see if this man can change the culture of this club.

Is our problem the coaching or our on field leadership?

The coach can only try to inspire.

unless we poach Ross Lyon i dont see a better option than MM to clean this club up.

Well, we can't get any worse than this. a hat trick of 3 losses to start each of his season at Carlton. Hopeless.

I hated Dale Thomas more than anybody when he was at Collingwood but the reason he is a must for us is because of his effort.

I'll take effort over a ponytail any day of the week,

All you do is lay in to Gibbs,
and extoll the virtues of MM.

I only judge what i see.

If Gibbs tried i'd love him but he doesnt and that is not MM's fault.

Gibbs has been doing the same thing bar last season since he got to the club.

True. A new coach could see a maked improvement on the scoreboard due to a decent game plan that doesn't involve bombing the ball to contests.

Lets Sack mick now and then see the same people calling for his head crying in a year when they see the same shit from the same players.

We are most likely not going to have Judd next season are you comfortable with Gibbs stepping up when he leaves?

Whats a gameplan without effort?

Not worth the white board its written on

Is a new coach going to be able to inspire these boys? Why because he is new?

It knee jerk and not constructive.

Judd missed the majority of last year.

And we were more competitive with the same coach?

Can you make sense of that?
