Don't know, I would have liked to see Buckley and Boekhurst in for Ellard and Curnow and anyone else rather than Armfield!!

Well the 4 changes came in and Armfield, Walker and Cripps came in as predicted, but annoyed about Buckley not getting a gig and Ellard staying in.

Congrats to Byrne, who will free up Yarran, Tuohy and Docherty a bit to be more attacking.

FMD, it's doing my head in as well. Just hope he gets a gig, named as an emergency.

There is one thing we can absolutely count on this Saturday, the boys will come out all guns blazing. Firstly its Essendon*, and we're usually pumped for our encounters with them. All the attention over our last two performances will still be ringing in their ears. Its at the MCG, and we have been known to play well there from time to time. Lastly, to put in a poor performance in front of a packed MCG after two losses to open the season, I just can't see it happening.

I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing any second half fade outs from the boys on Saturday. All things considered, this could be the game to turn our season around. To lose three on the trot will be bad, but to be mauled, humiliated and not even put in an effort will be unforgivable, and I just can't see that happening.

I'm going to tip a tight hard fought contest for four quarters, with the boys pinching a win by two goals.
