Time to embrace being truly crap. At least we have an identity now. We`re like Saints 80`s style only without Lockett and Saints disco/Social Club.

Likely to go 0-3 down again this season and same result for last 3 years a terrible indictment of mental toughness of this group
Clean them out and don't infect the younger ones with this mental brittleness

Frank that's basically my big fear... failure breeds failure, selfishness breeds selfishness.

Our problems are recruiting and player development...there simply has been too many reserves players who have been the wrong choice or haven't come through.

When we have an injury in the senior team there is nobody to replace them.

Compounded to this, when a senior player has a form drop or is injured, they are not dropped because there is nobody to bring in. This habours mediocrity.

Look at who we have got rid of over the past two drafts. They have been replaced with players who, as least, have played senior footy somewhere else.

We are trying to fast track depth before we can even start on development...

Yep. I think certain players were spoilt by admin/committee back in the 2000's which lead to a selfishness and greed environment. Hardly what you want in a team environment.

This is it in a nutshell. Nothing at our club appears to be run professionally at the least, nor is anything we do anywhere near the best in the league. We have become a joke. We stand for nothing on the football field other than 'flaky'. Teams don't fear us in any way shape or form and must love playing against us as even if they are down, the almost know we will fold.

I'd rather be a grinding Roos like Melbourne team, scoring just 6 goals but conceding only 9 goals and putting the opposition through a meat grinder.

Onfield is simply a reflection of the offield strength. Take Geelong and Hawthorn as cases in point. They fixed the entire club, then the results flowed. They got the best people, got rid of the egos and vested interests, and success followed.

We stand mired in mediocrity. And what really saddens me, is nothing is changing! I've resisted pulling my financial support form the club because I felt it only damages the club further, but really, how else do I get the message across that we want complete change ?!

The crisis point passed 5 years ago and we've just got worse. I see absolutely no improvement. The fact that our new GM is one who was caught in salary cap cheating is an indictment on how crap we are. Really, no one thought that thats just simply a bad look? And if he got bloody caught, he's hardly good at his job then is he ????

To our President, get a thorough independent review of this rabble, and ACT on its recommendations. Because until you work as hard as I do for the money I waste on supporting you, I'm pulling my support.

u know these third party deals?
juddy on 300k extra to sign ontop of his 1 million and his promotional allowance

next thing we had 18 guys or something all on some kind of visy 3rd party thing

then u had newtons debacle where simmo murph and gibbs lost money?

and mark and judd lost money in another deal...

the club has lost the plot....

we have board members appeasing players with money....

players and board members should keep that side of things separate...

then u lose track of what youre here to do and what the club exists for ...
footy has become secondary

and players will only come if we pay through the nose because the footy is secondary.....

serious footballers wanting to win flags wont come to us.. but if we pay 50% more we might get some past their best before date

..your big fear is already happening.. ..watch Menzel closely.. ....and think back to how he played when he was fresh in our system, Before we carltoned him.. ..he is already down the Gibbs/Yarran path..

Our mental toughness comes from our coaching staff.
If you go through our coaches playing careers you get the same results as our current list
they were all soft and lazy players.
