I agree we lack speed and fitness so the worst ground for us is the MCG.

Etihad suits us better and Subi is very narrow so easier to contain the opposition.

If the game was at Etihad I would back us for sure. Still feel there's a lot more metres covered at Subi and on last weeks showing, we won't sustain required effort to cover the ground long enough into the game.

An Eagles team without Darling, MacKenzie, Brown, Selwood & Butler.

If we lose this when we're spose to be a finals contender media/supporters will be calling for micks head. Eagles are a bottom 4 team in 2015.

Butler isn't much chop and Brown isn't a huge loss with Schofield coming back into the side.
Eagles by 4-5 goals for mine.

They've gone tall as well, though Yeo and McGovern give a lot of run.

In the first Nab challenge match I was surprised that we looked relatively slow...given I rate WCE as a very slow team. (I know we were missing our midfield but...)

That's a worry...bringing in Caz makes no diff and Tutt only a bit. Will be interesting to see if there are any late changes....

And for Gods sake someone stick on Hurn

Disagree.

Once the late team change of Ellard is finalised for the forward tag, we will have them covered with our midfield taggers in Carrots, Curnow, Everitt and now White. WC midfield won't get near it. Wood too strong and with smarts and will take NicNat's jump away. Expect to see Judd, Gibbs & Murphy spend more time forward for the smart goals.....then....
Look for Jones to tear them a new one, while Hendo & Cassy to take the main men away from play and the Tutty to put the finishing touches in the final quarter.

With long kicks and big marks, Blues by 5+ goals.

Don't think we've ever lost a game at Domain Stadium.

Five taggers in the one game. Is that a record.

I hope Byrne comes in. Leg speed and can kick. Okay not much game awareness but in this Carlton side that may be a good thing.

Good to see Clem getting another go. Has a brain, most players would of blazed away in his position with his 1st touch....very composed. Like Tutt getting a run too.
White midfield again. Looks like Mick said you need to reinvent yourself..

a) Love the sudden love for Ellard - gives his all but the "If Ellard comes in we win" vibe is pretty bad sign for us
b) We need Casboult to present a stong target, crash the packs, take marks and bring the ball to ground where we expect it to be. Heavy rain only affects one of those things. (I don't rate him or Rowe as backup ruckman so have discounted that as a value-point...)

Carlton by 40pts.

The more taggers we get into the side the more we will be invincible....
I think I should have put this  at the end of my statement.
