Doing it in a couple of hours - walking from the City to G -everyone happy Easter Thursday - bars and eateries bursting with patrons many of them in the tribal colours - up through the city along the yarra and then to see the beaming lights of an incandescent MCG - you know footys back - first round full of optimism and hope - a few new boys tonight in Carlton colours - the slightly off key buskers on the bridges playing the traditional theme songs add to the atmosphere - the bustle of 80 K fans as you head round to the gates
It hasn't delivered this week so far as we had of hoped but there is nowhere else I would rather be

Go Blues

How was the walk back?
