..Jezz, there's no standout, proven second option big forward to play alongside Hendo.. ....what watto does offer is a high level of kicking skill.. ..we hope either watto, or Jones or even both if possible will be able to form a functioning and goal kicking partnership with Hendo.. ..I think Bolt plays a different role for the team, but likewise we hope he can improve his kicking because we can't afford to play a one trick player Anywhere on the field..

What I can't figure is why Casboult is so bad? He'd have the best in the business coaching him, not to mention its his full time job for pete's sake. How hard can it be?

I guess the question that lingers most in my mind is, is it in Casboults head or is there an actual physical reason why he can't get a proper action when kicking at goal?

Apparently Casboult has been told to give up the lower ball drop and just go back to his old technique. Oh deary me. Such a shame as he is a huge pack mark and moves well for a guy his size.

Yes, yes, and yes.

I missed the last two thirds of the final quarter, but from the rest I'd say that was a pretty good effort from us missing who we were missing.

I don't think we'll make the eight this year, not even threaten to be honest.

Not sure if it means Geelong aren't that good either or we aren't as bad as I thought.

Fair enough cause I don't understand the love for Jones either. Absurd to rate him with Casboult.

I'm just getting visions of rocks, hard places, barrels and scraping.

But no, I'd still have Casboult.

Cripps a chance fir the RS if he continues in this vein. Get around him!!
Pretty satisfied with what I saw, although we sure could've done with the run a ball use of Simmp, Gibbs and Yazz.

You need to go back and watch the game again, and I'll freely admit I missed some of the efforts the first time, because Watson was working hard before he got a touch, and kept working harder and harder to get into the game.

See if you can spot where Watson is and what he's doing to his opponent when there's an inside 50. Check out the highlights for a brief overview if you like.

I think Bucks is missing out because he is unlucky enough to play the one position we actually have depth in and therefore the poor game v WCE cost him more than it would've if he played in position we lacked.

Watched my First Game of 2015 and I am happy to see some new faces in the team.. here are some of my player comments and observations:

** Cripps : Have definitely matured and looks physically better. I really hope he can take the next Step and give us something in the midfield.

** Jones: I now understand why this guy couldn't get a Game at the Bulldogs. I have serious doubts about him and I honestly don't think he will make it unless he starts listening to Mick and how he wants him to play.

He kicked two Goals but only from 4 disposals for the entire game. This is very Poor, not to mention he missed a 20m kick for Goal. He has lots of potential but little to show for. My guess is that Mick will give him a chance as our third tall in the next few rounds but unless he can do something special, he will spend the rest of the year in the 2's.

** Boekhorst: Very ordinary. didn't do much. only 7 disposals and hardly lived to this potential and hype we have read about him. I hope this is just a one off bad Game.

** Watson: Looked Lost again. And again looks like he is going to be spending his year in the VFL. There are many ahead of him.

Good Game from Murphy, Bell and Judd.

Too many HBFs amirite?

But yeah, it'd be good if he could be damaging up front

Could easily be in the mix at either end, and perhaps through the middle.

Don't get me wrong, I want Bucks in the team. He adds excitement and enthusiasm and lifts his team mates IMO. Just trying to find a reason for his absence.

I guess we're not used to having a bit of depth
