If they're only playing 2 of these games each then Docherty, Jaksch, Yarran, Simpson, Cripps, Boekhorst, Bell, Rowe, Tuohy, Casboult and Jones would all miss.

I don't think that'll be happening.

This weekend will give some indication how correct this little gem will be...

Awful reporting. Early-2000s era News Ltd reporting.

Has the same understanding of counter-attack football and the 'HBF' position in modern football as Synbad-level reporting.

No but some of the "writers" over there take themselves a little too seriously. Far too much NRL and only drop in occasionally.

That writer is unproven and won’t just magically come good.

The closeness of the competition this year could mean that writer is on the money.
Depending on injuries luck and good fortune we among a whole lot of sides could finish anywhere fron 5th or 6th to stone motherless last.
I think the Hawks Swans Freo and Port will be right up there and Mitch Clark changes geelongs prospects.
The rest you can throw a blanket over.
The guys assessment could be spot on come seasons end

SB, read into how little knowledge he had of the list, it was deplorable. We're not bottom 3 material.

I think Billy Cornwilly is trolling us.

Make sure you all follow him on twitter for 48 hrs after we beat the Tigers and then stop following.

He rated us 13-16
We finished 13 last year
His assessment has gone on last year's results which is fair enough.
As I said we are under a blanket with 10 or so sides we could be top of that 10 or bottom on it depending on luck
Anywhere fro 6-16
Don't think we will finish botton 2

Full of flowered and incoherent observations:

1. Curnow "unproven". No star, but 4th in B&F last year
2. Judd and Carrots in best 3 the other day, but "gone" because they're old?? They've both had their best pre-seasons for yonks. Where does this leave Garry Ablett Jnr?
3. He assumes we'll have Hendo mostly down back in 2015 - what, with Rowe, KJ and Jamo already noted as being defenders. Lift your eyes, dimwit.
4. Thomas may not be at his best (i.e. 2011 top 3 in AFL level), but was looking very good towards the end of last year. A little below his best will do just fine.

A lot of guys didn't have desent preseasons last year.
It took a long time before we got competitive, back end of the year really.

I think with Judd, Thomas and Smurph having a good run preseason will make a massive difference.

Could be the first time we beat the Cats at Etihad!!!!!

..regarding Murphy, it will depend on whether the calf injury comes good, or has setbacks and nags him thru the year..

You give Synbad too much clout.

Who to play on Clark?

Is Rowe agile enough?
Is Jamo tall enough?
KJ isn't strong enough.

You'd have to give Rowe first crack. Jamo held Hawkins quite well last year after he got away early on Rowe.

Looking forward to team lists.

..less concerned with defensive match ups, than I am about defensive midfield concentration.. ....when we drop away and play front running football, we leave our defenders open to slaughter..

The answer is D, all of the above. It's NAB cup.
