Not that much clean delivery apart from Yarran. Hopefully with a full squad, Curnow, Bell and Graham will not be the ball carriers out of the midfield. Turnover kings. Big levi has great hands!

WC have fairly full strength team in.

Blues under the pump down back. Zac, Yaz and Crippa carrying a fair load.

Terrible foot skills from blues.

Hello to all the TCers at the start of the new season, especially the foreign legion sitting up at all hours.
Farcical conditions. The result doesn't matter. The aim should be to get everybody on the plane in one piece.
Looking forward to seeing a few of the newbys in action this quarter.

White, Rowe, Docherty Armfield, Casboult, Graham, Buckley, Curnow and Bell have enough about them either through fitness, skill or match awareness to steady this. Jaksch, Boekhorst, Wood, Watson, Byrne, Sheehan, Smith and Jones are smart and skilful enough to latch onto the game plan through the leadership of those names. It's not rocket science.

They didn't spread, and they were slow to react to the oppositions spread as a unit. That's just playing too reactively rather than thinking their way through the game as instructed. Cost us games last year and we ironed it out late in the season. Hopefully it's just some nerves.

I see the anti Bell brigade is watching.
Twenty minutes into another year and waiting like vultures for any mistake.
Only goal kicker and maybe our top possession getter after Yarran, who got caught with it last time he had it and should have given away a free.
C'mon, people....

Why wasn't Armfields goal a super goal?

Armfield has lost weight it seems.

I think they now have the option of taking the penalty to the edge of the 50 or inside. It used to be a supergoal though.
