I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking it, but I'm going to be the one to say it. Tonight's match is season-defining for the Carlton Football Club. We will know by the end of tonight whether or not we have any chance at winning the premiership this year. Anything less than a 6-7 goal win is unacceptable.

A result less than this will indicate that we still have a complete and utter lack of depth at the club, that the gameplan can't be implemented by all players and coaches, that our forwardline lacks potency without Waite, Betts and Garlett and that we will be unable to make up for the lack of midfield grunt felt by the losses of McLean and Robinson.

There is no doubt about it - this is the biggest test and challenge of our 2015 season to date and also the one that either launches us or kills off the season before it began. A loss or narrow victory will be too big a downfall to recover from before September.

Footy's back....

Some folk will be glad this got cleaned up. Saved by the mods from looking decidedly foolish again.

It's a troll thread.
What did you expect to happen by leaving it up?

This thread has completely rejuvenated my interest in football. If, by the end of the game, there aren't a minimum of three threads titled "SAKC!!!" I'm going to be both disappointed and off football for the entire year. Can't wait.

Thought the sarcasm was blatantly obvious and a bit of a dig at the response of Pies supporters after last night....

They're normally a fun bunch, but I'm speaking over a span of 10 years here

Well, I guess it's better to know now than have to wait until March to have our dreams shattered.
