Akermanis has gone on marathon bike rides most preseasons in the last five+ years. That's why it sparked my interest. Cycling up Mt Cootha and then on to Mt Gravatt...not for the faint hearted.

Just looking at a photo of our 1995 Premiership Team. All of them (and Kouta will follow suit) finished off their careers at Carlton ............. then there's Judas. The end is nigh !!

Like campo - akermanis is a mouthy little flower on field....but unlike campo he doesnt get sucked in.

The bris game at telstra was a great case in point - both mouthing of at each other - campo got caught up in that battle rather than the bigger picture, gave away some stupid frees...aka took it all in his stride and made his opponent pay.

the difference is brisbane have stated that aker isnt captain material - whereas we make campo vice captain.

stepping into a premiership side in his first year was the worst thing for campo - things came easily for him so he didnt appreciate them.

I lost count of the number of times I lost it with campo this year - in a time when the team is screaming for leadership he should have been setting an example, not carrying on and getting suspended for dicking about...

will be lovely if he goes to collingwood or Essendon* - let them replenish with past it hacks....give his spot to someone who puts in and keeps their mouth shut.
