..to be elite, sure, you rack up multiple seasons at that level.. ..A graders are a season by season thing in my opinion, that's why for myself, there are not as many elite players as gets talked up.. .... ..and if any given player has a stellar season, it can be repeated.. ....it was also the only season he has played forward week in week out..

Are we any chance of reincarnating Les Foote?

1. Dale Thomas...watch him light up the G. He'll have the Carlton army in the palm of his hands.
2. Matthew Kruezer...HE'S READY
3. Liam Jones (my roughie, but something tells me the penny has dropped with him)

Apologies to Buckley, Docherty and Yarran

I saw a pic of him kicking at training recently. Dunno if it was just an anomaly or what, but his ball drop looked way too high, and he had released the ball before he had planted his non-kicking foot. Looked god-awful.

Photos are important for technique analysis.

Its not a matter of who steps up but what steps up and for me its a fanatical protection of our Captain by his teamates. We gotta be super physical with anyone that seems to think Murph is a sot target.

Hoping,
1. Cripps
2. Docherty
3. Menzel
Could have been a few more, these boys can help us climb up the ladder..
-Love too see Docherty move to the wings, Simpson on one Docherty on the other..
-Menzel getting a run through the Middle, Stevie J type.
-Cripps, well could become josh Kennedy style..
Fingers crossed, just bring the season on....

Docherty - To rotate through the midfield and have a big impact
Very good last year on the HBF off limited pre-season, but think this year other options such as Yarran, Buckley, Sheehan, Touhy will play there
Doc by all reports has had a great pre-season thus far and with bigger tank will use his influence in the middle (and we need more class through there)

Hendo - Full time CHF, solid last year with limited pre-season and seems to be having his 1st uninterrupted preseason with the Blues thus far
If he can get a bit of separation from defenders he will have a great year

Daisy - Not take the next step, but get back to close to his previous level

If these 3 play at a consistently high level for the year I think we will surprise a lot of sides, assuming Gibbs, Murphy, Rowe, Jamo and Yarran have similar performances to last year

Liam Jones.

Expecting 40+ goals from him

Hendo and Menzel will take some opposition heat away from him.

Doggies fans will be howling....
