Absolutely Cazz. I'm a mild mannered person but some of the anti-Russell crap that has been thrown around disgusts me. Jarusa saw it happen one day....
I dont think your post goes far enough - how about half way through their second year, then out come the knives if you must (rather than supporting your club and acknowledging we may have a workhorse and not a star, say). Some of these kids just take different paths, some are highly introspective (Russell), some highly extroverted (Hartlett) and injuries, confidence levels and game time all impact on what players become.
It takes time!
