such a shame they no longer sell the raised, stitched on monogram jerseys that the players are wearing. they are only selling jerseys with the printed on monogram and it is doing no justice to the new emblem. i saw andy mckay at the carlton shop last year and asked him why they are no longer selling the player's version and his response was that they only sell about 5 per season and it wasn't worth it. i find it hard to believe when i personally knew 2 people who had bought last year's one. maybe if they didn't try selling them for $350 im sure a lot of supporters would much prefer that version.

Agree, hope they change their tune on that but doubt it.

Here's the official word on the return to the heritage style monogram.

http://www.carltonfc.com.au/news/2014-1 ... e-guernsey

Agree 100% they should offer the raised monogram version to the members/fans at a reasonable price.

They probably think the raised monogram version would also have to be the version with the special side and shoulder stuff.

Amateur hour from our communications department in announcing this on Saturday. A positive news story should not have been released on election day (and so soon after the draft) ... save it for later this week when the dust settles politically and the immediate draft day analysis has faded away.

Thats steep. Its our normal jumper now, so not a limited edition. Dont forget if you are a member, you ask for a 10% discount. I always do when I am at the shop. They dont advertise or offer this, you need to ask.

it says on the bottom that member discounts dont apply to this "limited edition" jersey.......

even though it is our normal jumper now, they will only sell the printed on ones after this sells out
