If Campo stays, i will never think of him the same now, he has to go, hes way past hatdred for me at this stage. As much as i loved him when he was a Carlton player, leaves for money after all Carlton has done for you, get stuffed.

I bet Blue Mark is 100% right

At a club run by snivelling cowards, myopic yes men and no-hopers, anything is possible.

As I said a little while back, don't be surprised to see Campo back. I bet the club are actually trying to get him to re-sign. I bet they've called him a million times reminding him there's an offer on the table if he still wants it.

Carlton... I love this club but everyone who works in it has totally lost my support and/or respect.

Only the more-than-can-be-expected loyalty of Lappin and the more-than-can-be-expected selfishness of Campo have saved this from being one of the most weak and pathetic trade/draft periods in Carlton history.

It would not surprise me if Campo nominates his price in the PSD, and we pick him up and pay whatever he wants. Thats how shit we are.

FFS!!! WE RE-SIGNED WHITNALL, ALMOST DROVE OUT FEVOLA AND LAPPIN IN THE WORST, WEAKEST DISPLAY OF MANAGEMENT OF ALL TIME, AND HAVE RETAINED AT LEAST 5 NO-HOPERS...... I WOULDN'T BE UNPICKING YOUR NUMBER 16 JUMPERS YET KIDS! YOU MAY STILL HAVE CAMPO BACK!!

I would have thought Carlton's point in not delisting Campo is to make it harder for him. Leave him up in the air, don't let him train with the Bombers make it obvious he is walking out, make it obvious everyone at the club is disgusted at the way he has acted. I can't imagine there is anyway they would have him back. Let's face it he's just about gone as a player, he has lost his pace, can't run through the lines and his kicking now has the penetration of Hulmey. I've no idea why the Bombers want him.

So what, Campo stays and then what.

We only use picks 1, 4 and 20 in the draft because we have not delisted enough.

No thanks.

Bowyer - Saddington
Clarke - Pick 1
Johnston - Pick 4
Norman - Pick 20
Morrell - Ohailpin
Campo - Pick 36 ??
????? - PSD Pick 1 ??????

Is this right?

Even if Campo goes we can't use the PSD?

No.
Kouta was listed a veteran inside the 38 last season.
This season he will be listed outside the 38.

There is a positive side to Campo staying.

We'll get to boo him every week!

We currently have picks 1, 4, 20, 36 and PSD1 if Campo stays. We are allowed two extras on our primary list because we have for the first time listed Kouta and Campo as veterans.

This past year we had 38 on the primary list, 0 veterans and 6 rookies. Next year, if all remains the same, we will have 38 on the primary list, 2 veterans and 4 rookies. So we sacrifice two positions on our rookie list so that Kouta and Campo is classed as veterans.

Now if Campo goes then we will have 38 on the primary list, 1 veteran and 5 rookies.

So, on primary list...

Bowyer = Saddington
Clarke = Pick 1
Johnson = Pick 4
Morrell = Pick 20
Norman = Pick 36
Kouta = Setanta
Campo = PSD1

Kouta on veterans list = no Rookie 5
Campo on veterans list = no Rookie 6.

Get it !! :wink:

Surely it would have to be a price that is greater than what Carlton offered.

i can't imagine what kind of bloke asks his mates and family to give money as a wedding present. What......a.......freak!! He's been paid about $5m through out his 20's.

Fair enough if you've got all the gear for the house etc say no presents and mates being mates you'd probably take a bottle of red or champas any way, but to ask for money just shows what a weak sob he is.

If we never see him in a Blues jumper again it'll be too soon!!

I'll bet he even fakes his orgasms :o

Sorry, but I couldn't agree with the club accepting him back. If someone publicly states they want out, then you cancel their access codes to the carpark, disable their email address, help them pack their stuff and get them out the door as quickly as possible..

Then offer them an Ambassadorial position in Washington. :wink:

Michael Malouf was on SEN late yesterday afternoon, and was asked why the club had not de-listed Camporeale, he answered that a player had to de-list himself. :shock: Work that one out.

When asked whether there was any chance of Camporeale staying, he responded "No".

Think that sums up the motivation for keeping Camporeale on the list until the last possible moment.

Surely it would have to be a price that is greater than what Carlton offered.

Unless he hasn't put a price on himself to get to Essendon* this could be true, since the Scum wouldn't want to pay over the odds for a 30 year old.
