Our board will be comparing Mick's performance over his initial 3 year tenure with that of Ken Hinkley

surely he will get a 5 year deal then.

I also see that his ex-CEO mate Swan is now bringing in Collingwood blokes to Brisbane - brilliant stuff. Is there anything this Swan man cant do ladies and gentlemen.?

You mean Ken Hinkley 0 4 3

Barass I'm across 17 4 10 but what does 0 4 3 represent?

So given there's absolutely @#$%&! all for the Dogs to appoint their coach with, who do we replace Mick with, genius?

I'm just saying there is no pressure on him.
He has gutted the list and we are basically back to bare bones with more retirements to come next season.
We might make the 8 or just miss out on it with an easy draw against bottom 6 teams, but we will be in limbo for years to come.
If CFC makes the 8 then it will be his first for his time at CFC (without asada) and if he doesn't make it the excuse will be that we are in rebuild.

As for coach to replace him? well i am sure there is great coach coming through the ranks like a Hinkley. But, Carlton would pay top dollar for an existing coach over 60 again.

To be honest, what would Carlton lose if he quits tomorrow? Sweet FA. Carlton wouldn't lose a beat. Still have a losing record.

Lyon left Saints in a similar state Parkin left Carlton in before handing the reigns to Brittain.
Inconsiderate. No future planning. Unsustainable. Disappointing.

SOS hasn't done anything I know about behind the scenes other than the great tuition he gave LRT about playing FB...at a cost...maybe LRTs daddy paid for it? He's a specialist coach damn it!

List management at GWS was a case of ample players on a platter. We can't judge SOS on his order taking. It's the coaches who will be judged. The coach has the cattle. sOS just put them on an excel spreadsheet.

The more the list is refined to players that will apply themselves to MM's style, the more he will have to answer to if we underperform.

(get it moshe25? I made that one up all by myself in my spare time - I didnt need any help or extra funding or anything like that. It was purely a solo effort triggered by sublime inspiration and focused effort,)
