First, sorry if this has been brought up before, but, i just had a look at our list lodgement for 2006. My question is, how can campo still be on the list if he is entering the draft and wants out? Doesn't he have to be delisted before he enters the draft?

As he is not officially delisted, he can't commence training with another club yet.

Good on Carlton I say.

What courtesy should we give, Vozzo, when we've remunerated your client over his market worth for the last 5 years, when we've granted him a premiership in his first year of league football, when your client has shown no leadership and shown no courtesy to our club.

Couldn't agree more with the club's stance on this - the club owes him nothing, but it'd be fair to say that he owes the club plenty.

Just on Dylan McLaren - a lot of people say he can't ruck/mark/play the game... but he must have something if Brisbane were offering him a contract extension...?

Good to see the club bending a player over instead of the other way around.

Also, is it true that if we delisted him now he could nominate for both drafts? This way he can only go PSD?

Nice subtle "pay back" - love it. I think the interview with The Age was a factor....

Well done blues. We owe Campo nothing and as mikkey said, that interview in the Age would have convinced me to make his life as difficult as possible.

Enjoy your time at the bummers Campo. You deserve each other.

But if he nominates for the ND he can't set his terms.

He's been named as a vet outside the main list so as we have no other vets that spot won't be able to be taken by anyone else anyway. Will allow us to pick up an extra rookie instead.

If he can only go in the PSD and he has to set his terms it ensures that either a) The scum pay through the nose for him or b) he ends up without a club.

It's win-win!

yeah, I kinda agree. Even this preliminary list looks soiled with his name on it. Let him train early with Essendon* and start corrupting their kids quicker

Ha thats funny. Poor Campo, stuck in his car with an Essendon* jumper on trade day and now stuck on the Blues list and not allowed to train with Essendon* for another few weeks. I'm beginning to think our board actually have a sense of humour after years of misery :-D

Pointless exercise.Exactly what are they trying to prove.Let him go as he wishes without this spitefull vindictive little kids stuff. This sort of thing leaves a bad taste in everyones mouth and is plain disruptive.
Let him go and do his thing, and let us concentrate on the future without lingering bad blood.Just let it go and get on with what we have to do.

Any listed uncontracted players have until Tuesday November 29th to nominate for the NAB AFL Pre-Season Draft to be held on Tuesday December 13th.

Dwayne Russell just stated on 3AW that to nominate for the PSD, Camporeale has to nominate a price that is less than what Carlton offered.

Is this the correct ruling under the draft rules? 8)
