Why in heavens sake would you bring in someone now? Far too late. Best to bring in someone just after this trade/draft season is over.

It is too late for this year. This has been an issue for years now. I remember similar conversations this time last year. Should of been addressed months ago

Agree but this isn't about what is needed but who can fill those needs and how do we get them without restricting salary cap etc.

It is such a vital role that needs the right person focused on it

I'd be surpised if a middle aged man would walk out on a contract if he didn't have another job to go straight into.

Recruiting managers jobs are probably a bit tough to land I would think.

1. It said he walked because of the offer we made months ago. Despite signing a 3 year contract since.
2. Said we want Pelchen - despite Macca saying this morning that Pelchen will never be employed by the CFC.

anything Paige spouts, you can be pretty sure the opposite is true. She has NO credibility.

The last I heard from someone who has had several dealings with Rogers this year, he was royally pissed off at the Wright move and wants to move to into a list manager position, but gave no recent indication he wanted out.
