Damn, thanks DOA! At a time when all is doom and gloom on these pages this one quote gives me heart and makes me respect the lad even more. When my son is old enough to wear his first jumper I'm pretty sure #1 will be on the back

Walker leaving Cartlton is not something that any real carlton person would like to see happen.

IMO Walker will be the Building Block of a new era at Carlton. Our misfortunes of the past and are current status on the ladder will allow the Club the opportunity to draft young kids to the club to build for something special.
To think that the club would let someone like Walker move on or be traded is stupidity at its best. To have other clubs inquire about the lad is brilliant, and should be used seen as a Confidence Builder, inflate the kids ego a bit. i say nothing wrong with a little bit of arrogance.

Yes the dynamics of football have changed and it is indeed a business. So one can never say never. But good business's make good business decions and Walker leaving ( traded ) is not a good business decision. the shareholders (members ) would go crazy.

Andrew has shown glimpes of what he is capable of. Andrew is still finding his way.. Lets not get carried away with his inconsistent form. I still think he is on a steep learning curve and this learning curve has a very wide base.

Good Luck AW

Yes.

Imagine him at one of the clubs where discipline is enforced, e.g. Brisbane.

Haha, I can imagine Voss tearing him a new one. And Lethal...hehe
