At least he is playing his last game for us against his favourite club.

Bang on!

We should loan him to Norf for their final against Essendon*

Your odium for all things Essendon*** is such that you refuse to apologise when asked to leave the MCC after screaming to an 84-year-old Bomber supporter “You’re going down tonight mother****er!” and cannot see how that he is in a wheelchair is relevant to your argument.

funny you should mention wheelchairs Elbow.
I remember one year, the minder of a CfC supporting wheelchairee, was a rabid Bummers supporters. we were in the Social Club section, 2nd tier, at the G.
The minder's abuse was personally directed at our players, nd we were all extremely pissed off, and glaring at him. One supporter was inebriated and threatening to punch him.
He ended up getting right in theminder's face, but...after security came, we all made sure it was the minder who went.
unfortunately the wheelchair guy had to go too.
oops.

...beautiful.

Gee not much on this thread. Have we all given up? I'm going to the G and enjoying the sun, a pie and watching footy on a Saturday afternoon. Those memories are there. ..Dog's tackle in the square, Harme's punch on the boundary. ...might even see some of the stuff from this game

I guess the stench is too much for some to put aside and enjoy footy.

Jeez, such is my lack of interest in the AFL, I've been wondering what to do tomorrow with nary a thought about the game. That's unheard of for me in the past - regardless of ladder possie. And even now that I've remembered we're playing, I'm still thinking of other shit to do instead. Fancy that.

I hope doesn't play. Should always err on the side of caution with brain injuries.

Is Goddard and Heppel likely to play? Surely after an operation on a broken hand you wouldn't be playing 1 week later.

Waite should do the team thing for once and cop a suspension testing how stable Heppels hand.

I'm going to the game against my better judgement.

But I'm seriously worried I will lose my mind big time, given the rising wave of hatred and disgust that has been building in me through this year. Have always hated them, but never more than now. This could be intolerable.

Is it possible to get some enjoyment out of this game, and if so how? Suggestions appreciated.

Thank you for putting words to my thoughts.

True.
I wouldn't believe Barrett either.

I haven't looked at this thread. So apologies if what I'm saying has already been mentioned. What I hope happens today, is every time Hird appears on the big screen, Carlton people, on behalf of the 16 other clubs, give the prick the ''welcome'' he deserves.

But they said he wasn't coming to this match. They wouldn't lie to us, would they?

Would they?
