Thanks. Mothball him for the season. Is Buckley running around in the ressies? If so he should come in for that line breaking half back role.

Have really enjoyed Mick's pressers the past couple of weeks.
The reporters are asking decent questions and he seems willing to talk to them for a change.

Something has clicked over the last few weeks. We are winning, that obviously helps but there are certainly some fantastic signs that we are headed in the right direction.

Great to see Thomas string some quality performances together.

Loving it.

Judd & Simmo very good. Waite was good although he messed a couple of shots & touched one on the line.

Casboult has struggled since the media have been singing his praises.

Menzel is it me or is starting to play like a popstar?

There is a slight issue. 30+, 30+ and 30+!
When these types are depth players is perhaps when the blues will rise

Finally getting some games into Graham is going to pay off nicely next season.

The Irishman looked good, although his bounce was a bit dodgy. Was it Tuohy whose first bounce in a senior game bounced up over his head?

Great first half.
We pressured them with such intensity we forced them to turnover the ball;
: finals footy!

2 nd half. Don't know what happened but we didn't play like a top 8 team.

Judd is our best. Simmo courageous and smart.
Gibbs and Murphy in the mids were great too.
Midfield looked great but lacked depth...imo

Bell is tough relentless and will get better. A real finals type player.

Thomas played his best game. Well done. Signs good for next year.

Waite is back to his best but should've shepherded the goal rather than do the selfish thing.

Our back line is desperate and well drilled. Best thing to happen for us in 2014.

Thought Brock was slower than usual. It's over for him.
Graham needs to find another gear or he will be another plodder. Still early.
Curnow may be slow too but he gets to more contests than the above 2.
Didn't miss Robbo and Garlett. Casboult and Carrazzo below par but competitive.

Will be better with Kreuzer, Hendo, Everitt, Walker, Buckley...Boyd/Paton or Lynch/may and a couple class midfielders....we are getting close to a finals list.

Game plan in first half impressive and fast. Quick decisions made us look fluid and well drilled.

I'm not Levi's biggest fan but he was important yesterday in that he offered a big target and competed. He played his role ok.

Menzel is at times trying to do too much, but I don't mind that because he's got enormous talent and a lot of the time it will work... and the times it doesn't he will learn and be better for it. I'd hate to see his natural instinct to create tempered.

Discuss the issue Dane, not the man.

What's your point?

Bell not good enough to be compared with Robbo because.....

Bell is stronger, faster, taller, improving, kicks goals from the midfield...4 yesterday... Robbo has improved his delivery a bit this year...desperate player, hard, tough....I like him but he's probably not kicked many this year as a defensive forward. Nothing to me says Robbo is better than Bell.

Bell had interrupted year with injury and coming from a long way back. Missed 5 with no training because of infected finger...pretty good game yesterday considering.

Nah, when looking for signs of positivity for the next few years I think yesterday and the last few weeks provides that.

Lots of upside with some of the young guys.

Agree with this post except for one bit. We do miss Garlett, and have done so for most of the season. We desperately need a small crumbing forward.

Sorry I'm hungover.
It's good to see him playing well.

I'd almost rate our biggest offseason need to draft or sign a pacey creative small forward.

Ellard is a slow plodding hoax and yarran much better and too important to us running through the middle. Jeffy could have really had it all this season, but he chose not to. He was revealed for playing bruise free, and exposed for playing pea-hearted football.

We need to move on from him, and draft the next guy.

Won the game in the first half then put the cue in the rack.

Not sure how to judge yesterday. The pressure from GC was non existent. It was as bad as I have seen in a long long while. They are simply mentally gone from this season. The body language was poor and there was no talk or leadership. I looked around and there was no one who was going to step up for them and make a stand. In some way it's understandable. They are an incredibly young side and if we were talking about them as individuals we would say fair enough and time for a break. Watch out next year and more likely the year after. So much talent on that list it's scary.

As for us we came out with intent and never look troubled. Our structures are very good and we are really starting to play a finals type style of football. It is disciplined and team oriented.

The key now is to add some talent to the side. Our list is average and needs A level players. Judd was very good early and it was typical Simpson. We now kids top kids coming through.

The positives. Bell was very good and kicked goals. Hopefully will take confidence.

Another step forward from Graham. Will never be a Judd type but works incredibly hard and importantly is clean with the ball and creates. Does a lot that goes unnoticed. Defensively very good as well. Glad he got some game time.

If Yarran has a calf injury put him on ice. The worst thing he can do is come back and re injure. He has had a break out year and needs another full pre season. Harbrow went to him but when he got injured went back to HB. Found it strange as Thomas was then allowed to run around in defensive 50 by himself. Not once did anyone go to him. Simpson almost the same.

It must be tempting to end Docherty's season. He looks fatigued like the GC players. A rest and then a big pre season will do him wonders.

Casboult was very disappointing. Needs consistency and is a good 2nd ruck, third forward, nothing else. Liked Whites game up forward and back. Very mobile and tough.

Credit to Sheehan. Much better than games I have seen of him at VFL level. Just did things the right way. Nice kick as well which we need.

The negative for me is Menzel. He was poor and all he wanted to do was the flashy stuff. I watched him closely and he doesn't work hard enough. We know he is talented but in his second year and for one rated so highly I would of expected more. It worries me we keep picking up players that are more 'hightlight reels" than consistent 4 quarter contributors. He just doesn't do the basics well. He needs to put in a lot or work in the off season.

The other is McLean, I forget how slow he is until I see him live. It's embarrassing, can we afford to keep him?
