Big Fev gives them a whack

By staying out until after 5am and getting themselves in trouble on the weekend, they’ve both cost themselves a chance of playing for Carlton any time soon and, in Jeff’s case, maybe his career?

I know everyone will be quick to point out the fact I made my share of mistakes, which is fair enough, but I’ve always been the first to admit I’d do things differently if I had my time again.

Fev calls them idiots. Takes one to know one, I guess.

He mentored them in the first place.
He's their original forward line role model ... from their first year in the club.

Reckons he'd still be playing AFL at 33? Doubt it.

If he had his head screwed on properly he might still be playing. Big strong unique body he had....

Could he have? Sure why not.

Even in his last year at Brisbane though, I reckon he'd lost a yard of pace, he'd stacked it on, and still wasn't strong enough to push and shove his way around. Reckon they'd have moved him on as a salary cap necessity at some point even if he was performing well off the field.

He was shot. Even the last couple of seasons with us he'd broken down by season's end.

No way he would have lasted with the higher running requirements on key forwards.

My father in law saw him playing golf at Yarrawonga during the week.

Apparently he's back on the punt and owes a few people in Yarrawonga some money.

Given the contracts we have given to some players in the past few years he may well have and on big money.

I would seriously doubt that anyone would be giving Fev (declared himself bankrupt) unsecured credit.
