to be quite frank I'm not overly concerned with what they do OFF the field, while theyre both OUT of the side.....

you people cant have your cake and eat it too.....

you say you want success, the best list possible etc yet when something like this occurs you instantly demand these blokes be traded out of the club. great if you can get better blokes but the reality is we wont

Generally I would think the number of idiots in a team kept to a bare minimum. Seeing as we have two out of contract right now I'd be happy to see the back of them.

The only thing which pisses me off is the damage they have done to the value we might extract for them.

Been of the view for a while that these two should be up for trade, mainly because I thought we might get something decent in return without overly denting our list. As punter says this will probably drop their value which is disappointing.

But regarding the incident in isolation I can't say I share the anger here...

Does anyone here know what actually happened?

Do players have a curfew if they're not in rehab & the next game is a week away?

:?

Greatly disappointing all round. Much like this whole season.

Won't be remembering the 150th with any fondness whatsoever.

Perhaps one of the reasons we can't get "better blokes" is because the better blokes see this shit continually happening at our club and choose to go elsewhere or stay where they are?

When kids in their early 20s are paid hundreds of thousands to be professional footballers they should spend a couple of those dollars getting someone to teach them the meaning of the word "professional".

If you're a "professional" sportsman you should know the toll a binge session like that would have on your body. Every night like that takes weeks to fully recover from. If you were a "professional" who'd been rubbed out three times in a season maybe it would occur to you to be contrite, train harder than ever and come back more focused, bigger, fitter and stronger and repay your fans, teammates and club for your previous indiscretions.

Or maybe you'd just go out on the piss.

If you were a "professional" club you'd have built a culture that wouldn't accept it.

Maybe it's the players who "can't have their cake and eat it too"?

Lucky we didn't try to bottom out this year.
Otherwise 2014 wouldn't have been the glorious success that Sticks envisaged.

Let's all raise another glass to Sticks

And how many wins are we going to get if our team is full of @#$%&! idiots and man-children?

I don't mind the players being out and celebrating a birthday but lying doesn't cut it.
You know the consequences when you take the risk to stay out.
You get into strife and get caught - man up and take the punishment.

These blokes would be lucky to get a job digging ditches if they weren't playing AFL footy, throwing it all away.

Where's the part about them being drunk and disorderly? Surely they would have had to do something more than stay out till 5 to be sacked by the Club?
