I will ask you again what are your sources?

Who is yours?

I play the Sydney Card Clem because 7Dom implies I don't have a source but he does? Basically I AM LYING. Interesting how someone in Sydney has an impecable source compared to a Melbournian, isn't it?

But maybe your mind doesn't see outside the square to understand at what I'm getting at and like many "rhodes scholars" things need to be spelt out to for you. You deserved that.

Why couldn't someone in Sydney have an impeccable source, it's hardly as if there is no way for people to communicate between our capital cities.

Wojee, someone in Sydney is still relying on second hand news and therefore are in no better position than someone in Melbourne. Why is it hard to understand, I am saying he's source is better why?

The Game, this is just the perfect example of why people should think before slagging off on these boards..

As a supporters forum,it is fair to expect that some supporters might also have a closer affiliation than others!

I think we all need to be a bit more careful about what we say about players.

Why is it 2nd hand just because it may be via email or phone rather than face to face.
It's very arrogant to think that just because someone is further away from the coal-face that their sources are less reliable than those in Melbourne. You'd be surprised at what even I'm able to find out that few on the forums would know despite living in sleepy old Shepparton.

I've always made a point of trying to discuss players in a civil manner, even if I'm being critical. Being semi-anonymous on the internet shouldn't give anyone license to act like a knobend.

1) If we are in no better position than someone in Melbourne, then why do you keep playing the Sydney card when quite conceivably they could have equally a good source as someone in Melbourne?

2) Point 2 is predicated on someone in Melbourne knowing someone 2nd hand, ie. a friend of a board member. What happens if someone in Sydney knows the board member personally (as could happen because of their business interests etc.)? Then that person in Sydney has BETTER sources than the person in Melbourne who only knows 2nd hand do they not?

Your logic is ridiculous Surrey and just shows that you like belittling interstate supporters.

Didn't you know, Clem, that only Carlton supporters in Melbourne are true supporters? :garthp: :garthp:

Surrey us Sydney supporters have got to be smarter than Melbourne supporters for a start we live in Sydney not that dump of a place Melbourne. Isn't that right - Back me up CC and KK .

PS if CC agrees with me that will be the third thing in one month. Keep this up and we will be getting married soon

Well, we're definitely smarter. Goes without saying.

I wouldn't say Melbourne's a dump, but I sure wouldn't want to live there again. At least here, I get to go to any one of at least a dozen real beaches within 30 minutes of my place.

The rest of it is more childish games.

Now get on with it folks

Ok,I'll try again,The Game presented an opinion as if it were fact.
Crystal clear logic dictates that he would not/could not know.
My only wish is I/we never have to find out.
