Ah, at last some clarity and sense in this bizarro thread. Well done Doc. It appears filling ones head with pits and pots of good American craft beer and mountains of legal medicinal Mariana really does clear the brain. Some posters would do well to follow suit.

:roll::roll::roll:

I've always just assumed that most on here are on some type of medication.

Mate, im not sure what your getting at.

You've obviously taken offense to the way i post. If so, I apologize.

I was trying to discuss the topic at hand. Didn't mean to get into a debate about grammar and punctuation.

OR,
Laidler said the complete opposite.
The work at The Bridge sounds fantastic. hats off to him for that.
This is a seperate issue.
Is he a positive influence on our players?
Maybe on some but not all?
How can someone who lies and evades, and is so lacking in empathy be a great role model?
He is universally disliked in the footy community as opposed to Roos, who I believe is someone that clearly has a positive influence on his players, and whatever club he works for.
it's demonstrated.
I don't see or hear that from MM's past.
In fact, I've heard quite a bit to support the opposite.
and I worked or a long time in a place where I saw many Collingwood players,
and in a situation where it was easy to ask, and get an honest opinion back.
You do get a feel for these things..but
I don't doubt you have heard or seen the opposite.
I hope we get to see it next year.

Lost me at Laidler. He's a disgruntled bitter ex-employee who was moved on due to a poor attitude. He confirmed this in his pathetic whiny interview on Saturday night and his dig @ Carlton on social media following the game.

Wrong .... Laidler wasn't moved on for a poor attitude! ... He was moved on because Mick deemed that Laidler could not play in multiple positions ...

Another magic moment from the Super Duper coach.

You reckon Laidler would be even getting a game if Alex Johnson hadn't done his knee in rnd 1....

:thanks:

Said this last week but nah, in a premiership side so must be a gun, ignore the fine print

Derm (shockingly) was spot on in that article Choo. He described Carlton supporters perfectly. Can only hope we don't repeat the pattern and become Richmond (if we aren't already).

Ling's happy to work with Mick because he openly stated nothing happened on Saturday night. Surprise surprise. Media beat up.

Apparently Ling, being the gracious grown up he is,
toned down the incident a fair bit.

I don't want supporters deciding the coach of my club
I don't want mark Robinson deciding the coach of my club
I don't want a nice guy coaching my club
I don't want read posts about Thomas and laidler like they are central to the coaches and clubs performance without focus on the improvement of Buckley, Menzel, Gibbs, Johnson, Rowe, white, Everett, docherty
I don't want read about win loss records when we have not got the players.
I want to read about the rebuild we need that is going to take 2 drafts to even get us competitive.
Stop blaming mick because you need a scapegoat, have a bias or an agenda.

Thought that myself.

Look, every team in the AFL has it's fair share of flower supporters. But sadly i do think that the culture of Carlton needs to change before we can start thinking about premierships again.

With that said, I don't think Malthouse is the right man to change us.

If he's such a good coach................... why did Collingwood not keep him? Or worse still.......... why would they ever let him go to their bitter rival?
