Mick needs fev at the club to make him start looking good.

Club led by a total flower

I can accept a coach being a flower when your winning, but when your barely won a game this year, l would pull your head in.

You hear all about players having to be role models, but then you see a senior citizen acting like a retard.

Pull your head in mick. Won't sell memberships this way, not that you care. I'm sure you will be at Eddies place when you collect your last pension cheque for dinner.

Not enamoured with Mick's communication style...but this Ling BS sounds (without knowing the full context) like a classic media vulture situation. The old lion looks vulnerable, and the hyenas are chipping away.

If Ling is piling on after the Sam Lane sook then he can GAGF. The boundary rider has to cop it if the coach wants him to @#$%&! off at half time. It's a tense business and Ring has no rights in the change rooms.

Mick just doesn't like gingers. First Ling and then Lane. Nothing in it.

I'm supportive of Mick, but I feel he needs to sit down and commit himself to taking a different approach with his public engagements. Maybe he's happy with the approach because he believes he's taking some heat off the players by making a spectacle of himself. But I can't see how long term being so constantly combative is going to help either himself or the club.

Sounds a bit bit stupid, but maybe he should try laughing instead of biting.

Good to see Christi and Nanette up to their usual form. Discredit Ling, discredit Talking Footy, discredit Robinson, discredit and divert from anything and anyone who takes a shot at Mick.
It's no surprise. I'm sure he has some wonderful character traits but when the heat is on, he's a shit bloke and has been for a long time. Antagonistic, rude and blatantly dishonest. And this is the role model you want for your club and players.
How can you expect the players to take responsibility for their actions when the coach doesn't. No wonder Didak and Shaw tried to lie their way out of trouble. They were shown the way.

The days of people sitting back and letting him belittle and berate them are gone. And rightly so. Mick just cant come to terms with it.

I've been saying this for a while now.
Carlton hates gingers. It may be due to their lack of soul?

Are you sure of that?

What do you know of his approach to leadership to make you so certain it hasn't been addressed?

Based on our history OR Keogh is probably right, but the truth is we don't really know. I hope MLG does because I don't believe anyone has stood up to MM before.

Whatever happens it's not a good look and the inconsistency of MM is a concern.

It's just another example of a rudderless club heading in several different directions with no real pathway. On nearly every front the club looks second rate and a rabble.

Very soon MLG needs to step up, admit to where we are and steer a clear course to getting us back to the top. A new CEO and List Manager would be a good start.

I beg to differ. Eddie stood up to him - rightly or wrongly (I believe wrongly, but SB believes rightly).

True. Maybe the point is we don't have anyone at Carlton that can?

Shame he's not a jittery coke-head, then the media would love him.
