Dont forget dane, there was a $100 donation to a charity coupled with the 100 day self suspension order (ending August 17th 9:25AM). The primary advantage of implementing self suspensions is that post-variations and emergency augmentations can be introduced at the discretion of the IESS appeals panel.

How do you think I obtained the 20 exemptions and [FRYBIE] tokens??

You think these things just appear out of thin air dane?

take this post for example - neither an exemption nor a [FRYBIE]. Merely a response to the public on administration matters and anomalies.

due process dane due process

Mick is getting to me now

It's all above board - like the Essendon* Vitamins and supplement program

You will need to lodge a formal complaint through the Appeals tribunal and Rectification Panel...

This post highlights the backward thinking associated with our club.
Some people don't realise you can have quality people making the decisions PLUS a comprehensive process.
It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Not on your life should we extend his contract. Talk about it at the end of next season, if he does not get the flick before.

Yeh it's the players, just the players, so why did we sack Ratts? And tell me, what has MM done to improve the list or the players? How's Thomas going....

Agree.

On what?

The fact Mick is going nowhere?

The need for a talent transfusion???

I don't think we are improving and I certainly can't make any sense of the process.

Maybe all this will be evident next year.

Mick is too free with his mouth for the position we are in.
700 games as coaching means jack.
His credibility is waning as rapidly as the patience of the supporter base.

He made the pies look like a dominate side last night. We may of got 10 pts in the 3rd but never looked close to a win.

If micks game plan is to mark, hold for 15 secs, wait for opposition to get back then kick to contest, then l give up. This list under ratten was a run and gun side. We had a winning record over the pies from memory.

I just really cant see this team being any good under malthouse with 5 wooden spoons and 5 number 1 picks in the next 5 years. It is such a predictable gameplan and no reason why we lose to melb gws and brisbane. Add saints to the list next wk probably.

Yeah I can't see them winning any wooden spoons either and as such getting any number one picks.

I doubt even Norm Smith could get to this mob.

Seeing as it's June 30, would you mind posting the receipt of said donation?

Yes we have to ask ourselves this
If our list is so bad why was Ratten sacked because he had them playing a lot better than they are now.
All the experts say Mick cant work with list because its woeful
Rattens must of been one hell of a coach to get them into the finals they way he did

Way I see things at the moment - it's an inevitability that we're going to be up the top again and challenging within the next ten years. It'd be too much of an inconvenience to the game's administration if we don't.

If poor is cried loud enough, we'll have the right football development guys parachuted in, a well respected CEO, and probably another marquee player. It's an investment in the game's bottom line.

I really don't want it like that though. I don't want to be handed these things as a club. Only encourages the entitlement culture.

I think Mick at the moment is the only possibility for the club to rise up the ranks on merit, achievement and hard work. I think he, as a leader, can shape the list, and bring the right people and culture in, rather than have some of those things handed to us, and that to me is more important than what he does at the selection table week in, week out, or what he does on match day. For now anyway.
