One of his biggest initial tests will be the appointment of a CEO - this has gone very quiet recently - hopefully they make the right choice a soft choice being a former carlton player with no commercial or CEO experience wont cut it

Did we find out the correct way to say his name? I'm sure that would have been Brayshaws only question....

The G is pronounced like a J
The C is pronounced CH

Hallelujah.... Sticks would have been shoving a 2 yr extension in front of Mick this season if given a chance. No one else is after MM as coach, absolutely no reason to think about contracts until he fulfills his current one, and he'd need to have us going way better than we are to offer him another year.

On the footy show Mark said Mick is absolutely the right coach for Carlton and can't see any reason why he wouldn't be coach past 2015. Contract extension is a mere formality was my takeaway from his interview.

He said that he'll sit down with him next year (last of current contract) in regards to an extension

Refreshing change from what we've been doing for the past 10 years

But at the same time when prompted by Barrett, said he can't see any reason why Mick won't be coaching Carlton in 2016.

Things change from year to year... which is why these decisions are best made in the last year of a contract.

No kneejerk decisions after winning 'a final' or the fizwiz cup...

Good start by the judge
Speaks clearly with authority
Knows what he wants for the club
Looks ambitious for the club
Its high time that our club projects its professional image as being a serious football club that lives for premiership success.
