He is mutual.....l hence why he got the gig and Rya Trainor didn't. Ryan was being pushed by the Pratts.

Mark is his own man. He is either side. His job is to get both sides working together

His job is to tell them to f$&% off and stop playing petty power games in the club, because that's going to lead to the death of Carlton if they keep it up.

Go back and look at Wayne Johston's first 3-5 games. Was on the way out until he turned the corner against the Cats at Princes Park
And for that matter, Brett Ratten's first 35 games
And Carazzo's first 50
I'll reserve my judgment on Graham

wayne johnston on the way out?
yeah dont worry about wayne johnstons career . i knew him back then

but yes before he played a single game he was out.. and on the way to melbourne
jezza became coach and wanted to look at him and every player before they were cleared

graham has nothing to do with wayne johnston...

so far hes bartel.. sam mitchell and now johnno.

might see out the year or may not.. and sure if he gets moved on his going to become a superstar somewhere else or here....

Barrett on footy show said Geminder went and tried to poach Brian Cook. Not that we didn't know that already.

Synbad..stick to your opinion and I'll respect it, but FFS, don't twist an argument just cause its suits your desire to always come out on top.

I mentioned Johnno, Ratten and Carazzo as examples of players who took time to develop...and unless I'm mistaken, you're not an idiot and you would have known exactly what I meant. I never inferred that Graham was another superstar in the making.

You don't think Graham will make it, yet I'm prepared to give him more time because I've seen plenty of examples of slow burners.

And here's a pearl of wisdom Synbad...some make it and some don't.

Right now, I haven't seen enough of Graham at AFL level to put a line through him. You obviously have.

Of course..because everyone stuck in the reserves must be shit and everyone playing seniors must be really good...Laidler comes to mind, really struggling to find a spot in the Sydney side?

And Lucas must be a superstar midfielder compared to Graham because he played probably 3 times as many games as Graham at AFL level in his first two years.

He is contracted next year and then S Hocking will take over. Cook is available from 2016. I must admit, his club have received a lot of handouts from all levels of government over the past 8 years. Now the handouts are drying up and Cook does not have many ideas.

They make 800k net per home game. What ideas are you looking for?
More than half of the AFL clubs would not make that over the whole season due to stadium deals.

Can it start now.

Its begun..... New president and New CEO.
Docherty, Menzel, Buckley, Everitt, Graham and Cripps...... We might see Giles sooner rather than later.

Football department restructure will start taking shape towards the end of the year.

When people talk about Graham,
I get the same feeling I used to get when people talked about Hartlett or Rhys O'Keefe ......... just another name to be trotted out to keep people pacified about the promising players coming through, who in the end will never actually player regular seniors ...
Hope I am wrong. Positive thinking!

Anyway .....

Very much awaiting the 'maiden' speech from the Judge.
Hope he continues the grand Carlton tradition of dropping F-bombs and talking about "the top blokes" we have working at the club.

I wonder if he will have anything new and interesting to say ?

The power of positive thinking

Laidler can be shit in their side and get away wih it... 30 supercoach points.(5 kicks 4 hbs 1 mark 2 tackkles) thats about his average.....
Imagine that for us?
But he cant be himself in our side... because of how he plays we would be destroyed even more.
Lucas plays because of one reason... he can run... Graham cant.

And yes if youre looking for depth you wouldnt be looking in our reserves,
Cachia can play abit but he doest have the tools that are going to help us alot.
Wood can help but we dont need him.

Outside of them two theres not much there..

Laidler... pftttttttttttttttttt .. watch him.

They have a hard running team hard working team around him that shield his deficiencies and he still doesnt do much.

I tend to agree but at this point I can see the value of playing him instead of Brock or Carrots... just in case

i agree brock and carrots are cooked
but graham wouldnt run a game out of afl for 110 minutes and that would pressure the rest of the players in the team
he is sub because he cant play the game for the duration
same as menzel was and we know he cant either
imagine menzel and graham in the side at the same time

I know you comment on alot of things that you might know about, but suggesting Graham couldn't play the game because of fitness is just wrong.

He is one of the fittest at the club.

Talk about what you think you know, not what you are taking a wild stab at.
