In a clear indication that change is afoot on all fronts at the Blues, Carlton’s head recruiter Shane Rogers is understood to be aggrieved by the none-too-subtle message conveyed through the approach of a rival list manager.
well we know the recruiting department is under the pump....
shane can resign if he is "aggrieved"... these things happen..... underperforming departments get a shake up
2 players from the last 5 drafts in the top 3 rounds played last night.. whether shane likes it or not.. the jury is still out on him too.. but the club cannot afford to stay in this holding pattern
myself id have got rid of him already...hs worked too closely with hughes and they would hold similar views of the world after breathing the same air since their freo days.
hughes brought in too many hbfer types.. this guy specialises in slow inside midfielders.
neither of which we actually need the way the game is played
someone said the last 2 minutes of last nights game was stoppages so its still about stoppages.
actually the game was played over the previous 98 mins and nothing happened for us in that rugby scrum... probaby shoudnt have concentrated so many numbers in that area .. better idea would have allowed them to get the ball .. with our players outposting half a kick out from there or so
they never would have got a clean kick out of that congestion in those circumstances
you wanna be recruiting for beams hannebury thomas walker jack types me thinks...
runners that move well
