I'm hearing Andy McKay could move into the newly created director of football role if SOS knocks back the gig and a new footy pops manager appointed. Also hearing Simon Fletcher is being considered for a player development manager. Also hearing that Blake Caracalla is being considered by Mick to become his under study.

That's just too, too freaky. I mean, you simply cannot make this shit up.

What possible c-level experience could he have?

I'm looking forward to McKay's interview for the CEO role.

They'll be smoking cigars, drinking beers and playing poker during the "interview".

I can always trust TC for a laugh..

CFC take note... Some TC posters are disgruntled about due process before the process has even been started. Talk about jumping to conclusions...

Who is to say there isn't a process in place?

Who's to say McKay isn't the right person for the job, on merit in fact, against all other available candidates?

If McKay gets appointed (or anyone else for that matter), I don't know whether many of us here will ever know nor should be entitled to know the basis in which this decision was made. So why chase your tails over it. (I cant remember seeing the candidate evaluation forms or parameters deciding the appointment for any coach, CEO, president, boot strapper etc for any other club in our code or any other code for that matter, being made available for public comment and scrutiny.

How will these TC'ers reconcile this fact with themselves if McKay gets appointed due process or not? I wonder if those TC posters will stay true to their promise of giving it a rest from TC as they've suggested they will. The rest of us, avid (but notably concerned) supporters may finally stop having to sift through the fist thumping, circuitous and monotonous drivel that this forum has resorted to of late and not be afraid to participate in some valuable discussion.

I would expect ALL candidates for the CEO role of a large sporting organisation to have prior CEO experience.

Which he doesnt.

I reckon he wants the job to stop any other CEO from giving him the arse.

Think Gough and John Kerr (Kerr got in first).
