They have had Bolts under Clarko for years and knows Clarko's system inside and out. They bring him in to baby sit the team and play the exact same style as Clarko would. If Clarko was sacked, then you would expect Ratten in charge, but in this case, it makes total sense for Bolton to take charge with Ratten as the Rodney Eade role at the pies.

..we have underdone players and some that can't run out a full game, hence we peeter out.. ..and those that can run harder, won't.. ..it isn't the gameplan.. ..loo over the years, plenty of games we tire out, it doesn't matter what plan we play, some players just won't push themselves.. ..we lack players with real drive.. ..we have a few, but not enough and the slackers bring everyone else done cos a few have to pic up their slack and they can't do it every week..

..I agree with you that we should have beaten them on a talent perspective.. ..but some of our players just don't use their talent well enough consistently enough.. ..so on paper we have a stronger team, but on the park they play much weaker.. ..and they have for years.. ..bad playing culture, and it will continue for a while still.. ..forget our 'star names', and rate them by effort not talent....and you see we aren't that good..
